Me and my friends use these for team ID and they work great.

I've been using this thing for a long time. Maybe a year idk. Works great, bright, no issues at all. Got it so me and my kid can find each other if we get separated on night hikes. So far they have been amazing. Didn't expect much but I'm happy with it. We got tan base and green lights.

The media could not be loaded. Super bright, the velcro quality is really good and sticks well to my helmet, it's durable and functions as intended. It does not come with batteries but if you want the battery type it's a CR123A, you can find them anywhere on Amazon.

There is no battery drainage for me, reason being I read the instructions and switched the mode to "0" or "off" others put it in IR which obviously can only be seen with IR and with analog NVGs

Worked good for about a week then light wouldn’t turn off and couldn’t even use it in the field

I bought this for my German Shepherd's tactical vest. She's easy to spot with my NV and the IR function on her vest activated. I also use one on my bump helmet.

I've had this strobe sitting on my helmet for a few months, I haven't been able to get out to the range with it yet. Despite the minimal use it has had, the IR function or the white light strobe no longer works. Only the red constant on, and that is beginning to dim.I would definitely recommend going with a nitecore or unity strobe instead of this, it looks good but was ultimately a waste of $35.
