A superb product that has many uses
This is a superb piece of kit to have in your workshop to view those places you cannot get to. I tried this out to have a look at the state of my gutters and it worked very well. I stuck the tubing to a long stick with masking tape and held it out of windows. I was able to see what was in the gutters easily and the battery lasted well. The focus is brilliant as not only can you see close items but also those quite a way distant. I assumed it would only focus at a short distance but was surprised. I used this today to have a look inside a very small area of ceiling that needed re-plastering as the plaster had cracked while working on an inspection panel just below. After removing the cracked pieces of ceiling I was able to look inside the ceiling to see how best to repair it and it was great to be able to see everything so clearly. I have only used the basic function so far as that has shown all I needed but I know it has other functions which I may get around to using. It is great that it comes with a 32 Gb Micro SD card to record video and pictures. You need to have a USB charging plug to charge it. They are cheap to buy if you have not got one to use. The product is easy to use and the cable length is adequate for most jobs. It can connect to your computer to view the videos and photos or you can remove the Micro SD card. I ordered a small cloth bag to keep the product in and it fitted in there well, with a zipped pocket to store the charging lead, instructions etc. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased - very usable and solves DIY problems by being able to see things you could not previously view.

Good quality, easy to use and affordable Depstech endoscope.
I am a machinery inspection engineer by trade and have been using the Depstech app based endoscope for over 2 years without any issues. I just wanted an all in one device that didn’t tie my phone up. As I have been very happy with Depstech products in the past I decided to try their endoscope with a built in lcd screen. Picture quality is much better than I expected, and it comes with a 32GB micro SD card installed for storing videos or images. The dual lens system is an added bonus allowing better viewing versatility. The ability to flip the image by 180 degrees is very handy if the image is upside down on the screen. Included items include a charging cable as well as hook and magnet attachments for retrieving dropped items in hard to reach places. Also included is a 45 degree mirror attachment. The 16.5 foot waterproof cable is flexible yet still rigid enough to manoeuvre it where you want it. As with my previous Depstech purchases, I am sure the DS300 Industrial Endoscope will be prove to be a sound investment.

Fantastic for the price
This is actually a pretty good unit. The picture quality is decent, but not great. Don't expect BBC life of ants quality here... The display screen has limited viewing angles, especially from below which is a bit annoying as you generally need to hands to guide the camera and one hand to keep the screen visible. The cable is flexible but sturdy and the right balance. I have been able to push the camera under the floor for 1.5m in the attached vid. The sideways view is really handy. I drilled a view 9mm holes in my wall and stuck the camera in on 90degrees mode and didn't need to worry about bending the camera around in the cavity. It came with a cheapo 32GB SDHC which is fine, but maybe not fast enough which makes the recorded video jumpier than when just viewing on the screen. For the money, I think this is a really good product. Prior to this, I had camera that plugs in to a phone and this much better in everyway so spend a bit more and get this.

Great piece of kit, a must for any diyer or motor enthusiast
Upon receiving the endoscope I opened the box and switched it, without opening the instruction book I found it simple and easy to use as it operates in a logical way, plus the icons on the buttons clearly identify their function. The cable for the camera is more than sufficient in length and can be easily straightened out and bent to suit the task. The camera is lovely and clear, the light is a great touch and being able to adjust is an added bonus and handy to limit over exposure. The screen is nice and clear giving a clear view of the camera and whatever you are viewing. The best features for me are the functionality of the camera and the ability to rotate the camera view 180 degrees, however the real party piece is the dual camera and being able to switch to the side view, which can prove invaluable. The extras included such as magnet are a nice touch and great for retrieving that dropped nut or screw up. All in all I am very impressed with the endoscope and it is real value for money, tough, rugged, great functionality, excellent battery life, highly recommend

Amazing!
This is the dual lens version with the long reach probe. I did my research and took my time. There are undoubtedly better quality versions out there but at a very different price. For my purposes this is just perfect. Thus far I’m hugely impressed. What a piece of technology! Intuitive controls, neat smart and easy to use. Setting aside all the “tech spec” you turn it on, position it and get quite superb pictures with crisp, sharp, well lit, clarity. Even the packaging shouts quality. Worth getting a proper carry case and I’m surprised they failed to provide some type of protective cap/cover for the lens but not a problem. The battery life seems good and not the slightest criticism beyond that. I think you’d struggle to do better for the money. I recommend.

Fantastic bit of kit
I took a punt on this, given the very reasonable price. I wasn't disappointed - this is a very well engineered, robust and easy to use dual-camera endoscope. I used it to survey a newly built roof and capture photographs of defects in the membrane that would be otherwise impossible to photograph. The long reach was perfect, and the cable was nice and stiff and easy to control. I strongly recommend this product.

Great Product for the Price
A very useful product. I used it to ascertain of there was any leaking plumbing under a shower tray. Produces reasonable quality pictures & comes with an SD card for recording video or pictures. Battery life isn't enormous - probably less than an hour. The main issue is the cable which is semi stiff with a significant memory of being coiled up. It is laos quite long which could be very useful in some circumstances but makes use at short range rather unwieldy. This makes it tricky to direct the head to the desired position & hold it. I found that taping the last meter or so to a piece of bamboo or narrow pipe helped a lot when used in a floor cavity. In summary at this price for an occasional DIY use great value.

Great product with one small flaw.
Love the product and I think it’s great value for money. Yes, it’s not the easiest to use but that’s just down to the nature of having to feed a long wire into a small place, navigating twists and turns. I can’t see that this could be improved. The cable is sufficiently flexible yet stuff making it a good balance for getting it to the right area. It’s hard to work out which way up the image is, as others have said, but again, that’s not a fault of the product. Love that you can see both camera feeds at the same time if you wish. My only minor gripe is that the unit is so light, that it constantly needs to be held as you try to feed the cable through. Otherwise it just moved or falls off the surface it’s resting on. A tripod mount, heavier unit or some sort of clip to secure it to something would be nice. The only real flaw with the unit I have is the rubber flap that seals off the sd card and usb port. It doesn’t have a right fit at all. In fact it’s so loose that it keeps falling open. Not sure if this is just an issue with my particular unit or if they’re all like this. I’d be interested to know. I contacted Desptech, and to their credit they responded very quickly offering me a 20% refund or the option to return it to Amazon. If anyone could confirm that the rubber flap on their unit closes tightly, I’ll return mine and repurchase.
