As advertised - outstanding sharp with min efforts
I was skeptical about the stropping block, as i get used to traditional sharpening tools that resemble more like a stick. However, I was amazed how effortlesssharpening the knives could be using stropping block. I could feel high quality of the product, artisan feel and touch. Wood base is really beautiful and special stoppers holds it firmly on the surface, safety is in place. I love the leather strop, genuine and smooth. The every little detail of the design is thought through: it’s convenient to use and the block doesn’t move while honing. Hands down, the best sharpening experience so far. Totally recommended.

Didn’t expect it to be such product
I had several honing strops before, but that leather strop is overall well-made and thought to the the details. It’s really convenient that it has an anti-slip pads. They sit tight on the counter top, and helped to get my knives razor-sharp easier. I enjoyed using this strop block and finally I am happy that I a found perfect friend for my knives.

Ok
Not bad but not best. Thin leather, has high spots. Probably to much adhesive on back.

Gets knifes ultra sharp
The strop got my pocket knife super sharp. Of course, you have to start with a sharp knife to begin with, but the strop smooths the edge and makes it even sharper. The main problem is finding the correct angle at which to lay the blade when you pull it across the strop. Maybe an angle guide needs added to the kit to help with that.

Much better than a leather strap
The backing block makes it much easier than using a purely fabric strop. The block is good quality, and provides the crucial last step in the sharpening process.Polishing compound is pretty pungent, but that's to be expected.

Great Strop!
I needed this to sharpen some broadheads. I did my usually process of putting them in a jig and running them over sandpaper from grits 360 up to 2000 and they were fairly sharp after that. I then ran them over the strop moving only away from the blade edge and oh man what a difference! I even got a small cut on my finger just by picking them up after this. Highly recommend to finish off or touch up a fairly sharp blade on just about anything!
