Asterwood Hyaluronic Acid Serum for Face - Plumping, Anti-Aging, Hydrating - Fragrance-Free - 1 Fl Oz

I LOVE this stuff. It is extremely affordable and yet seems concentrated and really helps my regular moisturizer work. With aging, my skin has not only gotten dry, but also very rough. I not only use this on my face, but also apply it to my arms before lotion. This is the only lightweight product, non-greasy, with no scent at all, that helps draw the moisture into my skin and reduces the rough sandpaper feel of my aging skin!

This is my favorite go to hyaluronic acid. I use it twice a day religiously, and love the soft way it makes my skin feel. It absorbs into the skin well and provides a glowing moisturized look and feel to the skin without looking or feeling greasy. It layers well with other skincare products (as long as you wait for a few minutes before applying a moisturizer or other products) as well as makeup (again as long as you wait a few minutes prior to applying). I’ve used this for years and tried other brands, but always come back to this one.

This is a really good serum, I'm surprised! I'm unfamiliar with this brand and so I was just looking for a hyaluronic acid serum with no oil or anything else added to it because my face still breaks out with products that have oils in them even after using a product for 2 weeks. My face didn't do it with this. It's a part of my skincare routine and I'll say my face looks great after using this. I even use this on my elbows and hands before I use lotion. This is my base layer on my face before I use anything else and sometimes I don't use anything else except my makeup routine. My skin looks plumper and just better over all. The tacky/sticky part goes away after a couple minutes after it sinks in. There's also no odor to it so it's fragrance free. I have some auto-immune things going on and it wreaked havoc on my skin and so when I started using this even my medical provider told me my skin looks so much better. I of course ran this by her when she mentioned it and she 100% approved. I will be buying again

Given the specific price-point for this serum, I think this is probably the best I've used. The volume of serum in this jar is impressive, also. 4 oz. for less than $30 is a notable bargain. I saw and felt significant results on my face and neck in about 2 weeks time. My skin is noticeably fairer and plump. It seems to me that this acid helped control my oily skin, to some degree. Because of the relatively large amount of serum provided here, you can be generous with the amount you apply to your skin. It is safe to use on the neck, chest, hands and arms, too. This also is an excellent choice to put on, after you shave. I find that it especially helps the sensitive skin of my neck from becoming irritated, after a good shave. There is no fragrance or alcohol in this product, so no need to worry about damaging or infecting shaven skin. Depending on your skin type, you will have to use some type of moisturizer after applying this serum, for the first week or so. In my experience, I had to utilize a moisturizer for exactly 4 days, each time I applied this serum, before my skin became acclimatized to the effects of the serum. Otherwise, it made my skin feel fairly dry. No matter what kind of moisturizing product you decide to use, I would suggest that you wait about 5 minutes in order for the serum to completely soak into your face, then spread your moisturizer. I would suggest using no other serums or acids but this one, twice a day, for two weeks. Then, you can begin to incorporate other acids or creams into your facial routine, if you so choose. In order to gain the full effect this product has to offer, it really should be the main ingredient of your skin care/facial products for at least two weeks. Then, you can downgrade this serum to using it once a day, if need be. After washing my face, this has been the primary facial hygiene product that I've used, especially during the day time when I'm out or at work. Each jar lasts me a little more than 2 months. Depending on the amount you apply each time, and the frequency of use, your jar might last for a longer period of time. Because I use this on my face and neck, I typically find that 6 drops of this serum will cover the total desired area of my skin. When the serum has absorbed fully, my skin has a soft, matte feel to it, like I just spread powder on my face and neck. Your skin should look a little brighter and more plump within only a few minutes of putting this serum on. I truly believe that as long as you apply this serum regularly, for a few weeks, you too will achieve the notable results I have. Don't forget, you can put this on your hands, arms and chest, in addition to the face/neck area. That is certainly a plus!

Huge fan. Dries quickly into skin. Not sticky. Good hydration. Great for under other products. I sometimes combine with Bio-oil which blends beautifully and makes my skin almost glassy

I have been using this for over a year now and have loved it! Incorporating this into my daily skin routine has definitely helped me see smoother skin. I am in my mid forties and my skin looks and feels much younger! I use it on my face and neck daily to help keep my skin looking and feeling it's best as I age. I love it so much that it is a part of my subscribe & save so that it comes every other month. This is the first time that I have been unhappy with it. I just opened the new bottle that I received in April and the return window closed May 22. Normally the contents in the bottle are a clear to milky clear color with the consistency of an oil like substance but not oily; if that makes sense. However, this new bottle is yellow and feels like water. It's super runny to the point that it immediately slides off my fingertip before I'm done squeezing the dropper. It smells different and absolutely does not feel the same as it should. On top of that, it has an eyelash in the brand new bottle I just opened. Hoping the seller will make it right and maybe this was a bad batch or something because like I said, I've been using this exact product for over a year now and it's never looked or felt like this one does.

Just what a serum should be: light, non-sticky and effective. Love it! I use it at night and daily--under makeup. That's pretty much all I need. Great product!
