Leven Rose Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil for Hair Growth 1 oz, 100% Pure, Cold Pressed Pumpkin Oil for Damaged Hair, Dry Skin and Nails

I have been oiling my scalp for many years and haven't been able to find the right scalp oil for me. My scalp is very sensitive and flaky, so I have to be careful about the products/ingredients I use to not make the problem worse. Most scalp oils I've looked at either use filler oils (ex. coconut oil or soybean oil) or a ton of fragrance, both of which are unnecessary and irritating to my scalp. I decided to do some research to get just plain oils with no additives to use for oiling my scalp. I've ordered from this brand previously and really like the quality of their products and didn't hesitate to search through the selection to find a new oil for my hair. I decided to give pumpkin seed oil a try and it's made such a difference in how my scalp feels! The inflammation on my scalp has decreased significantly and it helps to soothe/reduce my flaky scalp. My only complaint is that the bottle size is quite small and if you have thick hair like me, then you will blow through this bottle after a few uses. Despite the bottle size, I still highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase it due to the amazing results I've been seeing!

I know skin care takes a long time to truly show results, so I will come back to update this review in terms of hair loss and acne scars fading. I've been using this every day, 7 days a week for over 2 weeks. I use it as a stand alone moisturizer after I wash my face in the mornings. I really enjoy that it's not greasy and use 3-4 drops on my face, as I have a very dry skin type. My skin soaks it up like it's dying of thirst. It leaves my face a plump and moisturized canvas for my makeup. I'm extremely fair, almost porcelain skin tone and normally when I put on a moisturizer my face flames red and is agitated for a while afterwards. This oil doesn't seem to aggravate my skin at all, only the slight pressure from me rubbing it in makes my face pink for a minute or two. I'm also very acne prone, but using this and the Rosehip oil at night seems to calm my acne down either overnight or in two days. I have unexplained overall hair loss at the moment and I've lost 50% of my hair, so I will be very eager to start trying this on my hair after other people's reviews and success. Great smell too, my husband said it reminds him of pumpkin pie.

First off I would like to say the customer service from this company is phenomenal. They sent me emails and were very curious how the product worked for me, were willing to help answer questions I had, et cetera. Also got a coupon for a jojoba oil of theirs. I will definitely consider coming back for other oils because of this reason alone! I bought this because I read pumpkin seed oil helps stop hair shed and promotes regrowth of hair as well. I used it religiously on my scalp daily, massaged it in, everything you were supposed to do, and unfortunately after using the entire bottle I still saw no results. However, that is not to say their product is bad or not pure, it just didn't work for regrowing my hair. The benefit of this was my hair was super soft after using it, so it works great as a deep conditioning treatment or a leave in if you only use a small amount. I also used a bit on my face during the winter and it kept it so hydrated all throughout the day. This had no foul odor or anything either, which I noticed in another brand of pumpkin seed oil I tried. This would be the one I'd recommend to try, but maybe not for hair loss.

I love this new oil from Leven Rose. Postpartum, my skin had been fluctuating between dry patches and breakouts, sometimes at the same time. Nothing was controlling it until I started using oils... and then what a change! A lot of people recoil at the idea of adding oil to their skin but it has been amazing for me. When we strip our natural oils out with harsh cleansers, our skin goes into oil production overdrive to make up for it and then we get clogged pores, more acne, etc. Washing my face with oil and applying it afterward is now an essential part of my routine. I can't recommend it highly enough. Now I have more even skin tone, less dryness, fewer breakouts, and overall my skin just looks healthier. This pumpkin seed oil is no exception. It has a thicker texture than some of my other oils (like safflower and jojoba) so it feels more like a serum. It's moisturizing but also cleared up some small acne that was forming. I love the texture of my face after I have had the pumpkin seed oil on for an hour or two; I can just tell my skin is soaking up the goodness. I ordered the pumpkin seed oil just to try it out. I used it a couple of times on my face, but my skin didn’t really respond to it as well as it has to other oils, so I put it aside for a bit. Not too long ago, I noticed my hair was looking dry and a little dull, especially the ends. I don’t use store-bought shampoos anymore, so I knew it was just a matter of course since I’ve always been a dry skin & hair girl. I remembered the pumpkin seed oil and decided one morning to massage 4-5 drops into the ends of my hair and wow! What a difference! It really smoothed out the frizzies and my hair didn’t look dry at all. It was shinier and softer, and the ends even started to curl up naturally. Bonus! Now it’s my go-to hair oil.

It smells good, but it leaves my hair a little greasy even I only use a small drop and run it through the ends of my hair. Maybe it would be good when people have thicker hair since mine is thinning out. I’ll keep using it overnight on roots before I rinse it out in the morning and see the results. Although it smells really good!
