PEN-F Case, BolinUS Handmade Genuine Real Leather Half Camera Case Bag Cover for Olympus PEN-F Bottom Opening Version + Hand Strap - Black

I was skeptical because of the low price ($28). Amazed by the quality of the construction and fit. It was packaged nicely in a black box. A matching hand/wrist strap is included. The half case is beautiful and well constructed. Fit was very good. Two things I love: 1) the door on the bottom which allows access to the battery and memory card is secured with a brass snap. Simple and old school design which complements the retro Pen F 2) the formed handle on the front. It creates a sinuous curve while improving the grip. Well thought out - design is practical while complementing the retro look - for under 30 bucks!

This leather, half case, adds a vintage and classy, but useful, addition to the Olympus Pen-F, eliminating the bulky metal bracket offered by the manufacturer. The Pen-F is a small camera which presents comfort issues to those with large hands. On the humorous side I've often been approached by strangers wanting to know which "Leica" I was using? A completely unexpected, but pleasant, inquiry..., as if I could afford a Leica.

I was a bit unsure about this when I bought it. It looks good and really does help improve the grip on the camera. Just enough to be helpful and not so much that it become an awkward protrusion. Overall, I just feel more confident holding the camera. Its altogether more 'handy' with either hand. I was wondering about the leather quality when I ordered it, but it seems very nice and I expect it to be long lived. But... I just don't get the wrist strap. This camera deserves a full neck strap and I would have gladly paid a few bucks more

Fits great, protects base of camera, well made. What more is there?

I think this one is real animal leather. Some of the Chinese sellers have recently taken to calling PU (man made) leather "Real Genuine Leather". It reminds me of the generic auto parts that are labeled "Genuine replacement part". The tripod L bracket I use fits tightly to the camera so you can't use the bracket and the case together. Fortunately it only takes seconds to switch them.

It's a nice fit for Olympus Pen-F. No need for the camera grip with the short lenses for mft. It also serve as a half-body protection for Pen-F. I recommend it to Pen-F owners.

In the past I purchased leather cases for my cameras from Gariz. Gariz cases are very nice, but the price is too high (around $100). I decided to try a cheaper option for my Oly Pen-F, so I ordered this BolinUS case for under $30. The case looks "sexier" than a Gariz brand and fits very well. In addition to the case, a very nice leather wrist strap was also included. For the money, this item is a super-buy.

Ordinarily, I would have given this 5 stars. It's very well made and fits the camera perfectly. One reviewer mentioned that the mounting hole was slightly off center, but that was not a problem with mine - it lined up perfectly. A minor point is that the stitching on the one I received is gray, whereas the stitching in the photos is red. I liked the red stitching, but like I wrote, this is a minor issue. The included hand strap is also high quality and a nice extra. The reason I deducted a star is that the company's name is BolinUS. I interpreted this to mean that this is a US made product. It's not. It's made in and shipped from China (took 6 days to arrive). I really have nothing against Chinese made products, but I don't like being led to believe that it's a US made product when it's not. So, for that, I deducted a star. If you don't care about something like that, then this is a 5 star product.
