Q: Does anyone know the strength of the wire?

Yas, it’s strong as shiit, just don’t over tighten it , it strong enough for aircraft applications soo.... and don’t try to hang your cars engine from the garage rafters with it and you’ll be fine!!

Q: how many feet of wire you get

I'm not sure - it should be in the specification.

Q: I can't find the gauge anywhere?

It would be nice to list the size in both inches and gauge (maybe even metric). Conversions are a hassle.

Q: I am trying to use this to secure heatwrap around my motorcycle exhaust? Is this the right choice?

My best guess is yes, this would do the job. Note that I am not a qualified engineer! Provided the load is just some heatwrap, it should suffice, stainless steel can withstand quite high temperatures. This wire will not hold much of a load, IMO, but of course the more wire you use (in separate loops), the more it will carry. If you just loop and loop around continuously, the load will pretty much be the maximum one individual wire can bear, so use separate loops, and make sure the wire does not contact or rest on any sharp edges.

Best and cheapest stainless for chainmail

Used wire for making chainmail rings. worked great! I had to make a 2-piece spool to keep it from twisting, as I use a drill. But if you hand-turned a short mandrel, you could easily rotate container as you went. Made great chainmail! And solders nicely.Didn't use as intended, so container wasn't useful (seems handy though).
