Bepuzzled Classic Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle - Foul Play & Cabernet, Red

Not the easiest puzzle to do because of the way you do it, but it was great fun. The pieces fit together well, so there is no guessing whether or not it goes together.

Great gift for my MIL. She loves puzzles but we always feel bad getting her the “same” thing. This is a fun twist on the puzzle game!

The concept and the puzzle are great. I was not thrilled that the puzzle arrived damaged.

I love these mystery puzzles. Increased challenge with no picture. Love seeing the mystery come together after the puzzle is assembled.

I saw something similar for a MUCH higher price on a novelty website so I came to ol' Amazon to see if I could find it here. This is not the exact one from the other website, nor is it the same brand. But it's wonderful all on it's own! A unique idea. I had a kid's version of this type of thing when I was younger, and it turns out the concept definitely holds up. I'm always looking for fun things to do as a family and sometimes board games and crafts get old, especially during a pandemic when we're stuck inside. And SOMEONE in my family HATES jigsaw puzzles. But he loves mysteries. So I presented to them: THIS ITEM. It was a hit! I love it. They love it. It's great.

I'm not a puzzling pro, but I do enjoy a puzzle or two every now and then. I typically do 1000 pieces or more. I thought I'd give this puzzle a try because it sounded like something new and fun ( I love murder mysteries)! This didn't disappoint. The story was interesting with some added humor, and the puzzle was challenging - especially not having a picture to go off of. It took me a bit longer to get it pieced together for sure. I didn't guess the ending completely correctly (I got one detail correct), but I still had fun trying to sort it out. It's not super obvious, but wouldn't be impossible to figure out either. Overall, I enjoyed a modern twist on a classic pastime. This would be a great puzzle to do with (adult & teen) family over the holidays or some other gathering!

My wife and I regularly do puzzles together. We especially enjoy mystery puzzles where you a) don't know what the puzzle will look like and b) you're solving a mystery based on clues in the finished puzzle. I legitimately want to rate this one like 2 stars but I gave it a star back because I'm mostly dinging it because the puzzle is just boring and bland due to lack of a color palette at all. Browns, maroons, blacks, more browns, some more browns, a bit of blue that I can't even tell what the blue thing is, more browns, and more dark reds. If the repetitive color scheme wasn't bad enough there are several areas of the puzzle with repeating patterns that match other areas of the puzzles patterns and color. If that sounds like your cup of tea, have at it. I hated every minute of this puzzle and it took us 4x as long as our normal puzzles just because it was like pulling teeth for my wife to get me motivated to work on it. Not fun. Did not enjoy. Glad it's over. If you want an artificially difficult puzzle based on repeating patterns and a bland, boring color scheme - look no further, this is your jam.

Fun and challenging

This puzzle is like none other I have ever done. The puzzle pieces are different sizes, colours with weird shapes. Frustrating at times, very challenging and requires lots of patience.

Diferente a otros rompecabezas... super interesante no saber cual va a ser la imagen fina, eso hace mas emocionante el acabarlo!

You don’t get to know what it looks like. It’s an Amazing concept, you solve the mystery. It’s also a very cool jigsaw puzzle

Great concept but puzzle itself is quite dark so not good for anyone older or with some eyesight issues. Not as colourful as the picture on the box ie all mostly brownish inside (which on the upside makes the puzzle a good challenge)
