Douxo S3 Calming Mousse is helping my pitty with all of his stubborn skin allergies. I was originally introduced to the Douxo line following an expensive emergency vet trip, resulting in receiving the antifungal version (pads) which alleviated many skin issues. This mousse is aiding in bug bites, hot spots, rashes, etc. My dog is 55 lbs and does not enjoy his feet being touched especially knowing that I know, he licks between his toes until they're raw if I don't catch him. I was praying that this mousse would be easy and FAST in absorbstion, otherwise the product is wasted and ineffective. This stuff is light, airy, and does not have any medicinal odor. It feels soft and clean as it dries down, as I tested on my wrist to get an idea. I'd imagine it's very soothing, my dog did amazing with just me pumping a few pumps of the foam directly into my own palm and kinda just smooshing it down on top of his feet, which allowed to address between the toes and around his nails. He paid little mind to the application, the pump bottle is similar to common mousse dispensers but is not aerosol. I appreciate the slim bottle it comes in, very easy to hold and dispense with one hand while wrangling your pet. It is light, clean without a cast, low-tack if at all, effective upon first use, and available without the pricey script through a vet. So thankful for taking an almost $2,000 hit in vet bills to discover this line😩. Honestly, it was the difference between my dog being put on prednisone or meloxicam to stave off all of his weird and aggravating skin issues. Sadly the cost was horrendous, but I came across something that I can honestly share with others out there dealing with finicky "is it this, or that", type scenarios. It will save you tremendously, very thankful for this product line. Anything from skin allergies to fungal/mange maintenance, worth its weight in gold!

It works and smells great. Calming and soothing for my itchy pup between baths.

my cat is allergic to fragrance especially candles. felt like it took forever to figure this out. once i stopped all fragrances, switched to free and clear everything - no plug ins, no candles.. used this foam 4-5x approx. 1. it’s the only thing that has helped her hair grow back 2. she has completely stopped plucking her hair. it’s clear she’s no longer itchy!! 3. shes battled dandruff all her life and i’ve noticed a significant decrease in the dandruff. huge difference. 4. dries quick and she leaves it alone. doesn’t bother her after applied 5. large amount in the bottle 6. not sticky, not something i have to wash out 7. clearly does the trick. 8. price was absolutely worth it for the results if i could give this 10 stars i would

This is the best stuff out there for dogs with itchy skin/allergies & I've tried them all. I can apply this when she starts to scratch and she is good for at least 3 to 4 days before I have to re-apply. I ordered this with another product for itchy skin and I have not even tried the other one this one works so well.

Fantastic product for my dog who has bad skin allergies. Grass allergies and chicken type food allergies. Smells great. I even use it when he gets a hospital or decides to chew a spot on himself and it seems to help

The mousse is easy to use, for dogs with mild skin allergies, use 3 times a week, and don't use it too often. It does helps calming my dog skin for winter time.
