Return the wand slowly to avoid the same issue. The bubbles are not immediately unpoppable you must give them a few seconds to stiffen, we blow them up far above the kids heads so by the time the kids can touch them they do not pop. Yes when they pop they leave minimal residue on things but it’s easily wiped away or cleaned up with warm water.
