Better than the competition
Seemingly many people dislike metallic pencils. I really like like them and would happily buy a larger set of these if they were available. The Caran D'Ache are they best that I have tried and are significantly better than Derwent Metallics, Castle Arts Metallics and Shuttle Metallics which I also have. The problem is that there are only six of them and the metallic effect itself is rather low key. However, they are the best that I have personally used amongst the forementioned brands.
