Wooden Inlaid Backgammon Game Set, "Sentinel"

Bought this as a Christmas gift for a beginner, comes with easy to follow instructions and is all a lovely quality. Great finish on the wooden box.

I'd have given a 5, if it had wooden dice. Nice looking. Lightweight. Cool magnetic shutting.

The case is well crafted.

All of it is made of wood including inlays.👍

My father in law used to dabble with marquetry and he thinks this is beautiful craftsmanship, especially at this price. The outer pattern is on both sides and the inner work is excellent too. The hinges and magnets have been well constructed too and the dice cups have been made to match the board. Some of the counters are a bit rough but it adds to its charm, we think they look better than acrylic ones. There’s instructions included as well. This would make a beautiful gift or aesthetically pleasing addition to any home.I ordered this for my son who enjoys playing with his friend. He only has the one that’s part of our wooden games compendium and wanted a proper set of his own. I was buying him one for his birthday in July but this is perfect for him. He absolutely loves it and it doesn’t take up much room. It’s also a good size for travelling and he’s kept the cardboard box for that reason.

The game looks lovely from the outside but for £60 I expected better quality in the pieces inside

As soon as I recievd the package from the delivery man I knew this product was a waste of time. It was light, flimsey and small. Once I had opened the package my fears were even further compounded. This in no way is worth £50. Do not consider this item whatsoever. Unbelievably overprice and appears to be of low quality. The dice are of poor quality, as are the cups and as for the markers they have the feel that they have been made by school children. I started the returns process imediately after I had recived the item.

This game board and the pieces are very well designed. The wood is of high quality, has a decent weight to it and feels solid. I would recommend this product to anyone who is a fan of backgammon and is looking for a high quality board.

The set is really nice.

Bin sehr begeistert👍 Es sieht sehr gut aus. Hat genau die richtige Größe und der Verschluss ist auch sehr gut. Das Einzige was mich "etwas" stört ist, dass die Würfel recht klein sind und nur 1 Paar dabei ist. Ansonsten topp 👍👍

Al fin y al cabo es el juego descrito, pero es algo más pequeño de lo habitual y los dados no son de mucha calidad... esperaba un poco más con el precio que tiene
