LG MR21GA Magic Control Remote Control Original LG Channels/Movies Version

Original replacement remote, works perfectly as expected. The only downside was the delivery took an age!!

Bought as a replacement for my old one where only the middle press of the wheel as like an ‘OK’ was broken, the rest work perfectly. I saw one of these here on Amazon for a few pence shy of £70 (!) so I was reluctantly just going to buy anything for a replacement remote but I found this one for a lot cheaper so it was a no brainer purchase for me & I didn’t look up my tv model as the remote is exactly the same as my old one so it was automatically connected to my telly I just had to put batteries in it & it just worked immediately. Now I know that just the one button was broken on my original remote but after using this for a couple of weeks now the overall button response is much faster & smoother. You do get set up instructions with this replacement remote but if it’s a straight up lookalike copy replacement it will probably work straight away.

My original remote was unfortunate smashed but thankfully I found this replacement! One needs to check that the one sent for is an exact match for the original as some just have at least one difference but once you have and are sure it is THE ONE it’s just perfect - just place batteries in and it’s all system go immediately - amazing!

Didn't work for my LG tv, haven't had a refund

I have a LG 43 up7500 4k hdr bedroom tv and although it's not listed as compatible on Amazon I can confirm that it works better than original remote, magic remote is excellent lightweight responsive, voice control takes the TV to another level it works like a wii remote if you want it for scrolling through menus is a breeze or selecting content, nice easy layout of buttons can use it in the dark and feel sure with touch that your hitting the right button most of the time, highly recommend it's a must buy. Also buy a case for remote from Amazon, gives it protection and an amazing feel in hand, also stability on surfaces. I phoned LG and confirmed this remote is the correct one for this TV there is another magic remote but is last years model that is not fully compatible. My TV is a 2021 model, and this remote is a 2021 remote and works as expected. Don't buy cheaper last year remote, as it is not the right one.

From reviews I had read it seemed that this would be a worthwhile purchase as an upgrade. The reality for me is that although this is a different was of controlling my TV, I'm not convinced it was worth my upgrading. The original remote has a button for everything you need, but selecting options requires using the arrow keys. This unit allows you to make selections by point & click of an arrow on the TV screen. So, I'm saved a few clicks with the arrow buttons. What it saves the user in clicks is somewhat negated by having fewer dedicated buttons. Take the (should be) simple task of pausing and/or rewinding live TV. The original 'dumb' remote has clearly labelled buttons for the tasks. The magic remote has the ability to pause/rewind but it takes more button presses to perform either task. It is also not immediately obvious how to do it at all. Unless you have particular needs (and I can't imagine what they might be!) I'd keep your money in your pocket and stick with the unmagic remote.

Genuine item good quality and easy to get going put the batteries in and held the button and it worked instantly. Very impressed and nice to have a fully working remote again.

Look & Feel Die Fernbedienung wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand. Alle Tasten reagieren zuverlässig, der Druckpunkt ist angenehm und nichts wirkt billig oder wackelig. Optisch passt sie perfekt zu den LG OLED-TVs und fühlt sich genauso an wie das Original, das beim Kauf des Fernsehers dabei war. Preisvergleich Im Vergleich zu günstigen Nachbauten merkt man sofort, dass hier ein Originalteil in der Hand liegt. Die Verarbeitung ist besser, die Reaktion schneller und auch die Reichweite stimmt. Preislich liegt sie etwas höher als No-Name-Modelle, dafür funktioniert alles reibungslos und ohne Kompromisse. Fazit Ein Ersatz, der seinem Namen alle Ehre macht. Schnell eingerichtet, sofort einsatzbereit und qualitativ genau das, was man von LG gewohnt ist. Für mich eine klare Fünf-Sterne-Bewertung.

10/10, fungerar klockrent till vår LG C1 utan att behöva installeras. Rekommenderas starkt!
