This is a great shelf unit. It's very sturdy and comes with straps to anchor to the wall. I was very impressed with the packaging of the unit. It comes with an allen wrench and screwdriver, but I stripped the allen wrench on the sixth screw. Using a drill makes things a lot quicker. It wasn't difficult to put together, but many pieces. The instruction are very clear and easy to understand.This shelf is beautiful. I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's quite tall, but looks great.

Sturdy, looks great, and provides lots of space. Medium ease of assembly. The Allen key that came with it stripped after a few screws were in, so may need a spare on standby. I switched the last few steps around and assembled the shelves before sliding the sides on, just needed to adjust the screws on the back on the shelves to get the sides to slide over them. The one back piece bends out a bit but nothing I’m too worried about, will just need to revisit it if we decide to screw it into the wall. Solid piece, may need help standing it up after it is assembled as it is quite heavy. After looking at a few shelving units, I am very happy with this purchase.

Dollar for dollar this is a great bookshelf. I bought two of the 6 shelf version. I've got all the shelves completely loaded with books and it seems to be holding up fine. I was a little surprised at how light the shelf is. The metal seems to be hollow aluminum so I wouldn't try to move this once it's fully loaded or else the legs could bend.But overall, I'm really pleased with the industrial look and the number of books it can hold.Update: After 3 months the shelves are holding up well. I have them FULLY loaded with books. No sagging shelves (to be fair, I live in Austin and the climate is fairly dry. Humid areas or no AC might make the shelves sag since they are MDF. I'll also add that my shelves did come with adjustable feet--but you'll want to adjust before loading. Once these are loaded, I wouldn't move them without completely unloading them.

I liked it so much I bought another one! It fit all of my books and I had enough room to add decorations (or more books). This was very easy to put together and looks fantastic. It’s hard to believe how inexpensive this is because it looks like I shelled out several hundreds of dollars but I still have money in the bank for more books!

I bought this for my manga collection and there is so much room whether you want to just put books on it or display stuff or do both! It’s a unique shelf and looks really nice.As for any issues I had, I would say the hardest part was assembly. Putting together the shelves and legs was easy, but combining them was very difficult. Not impossible to do, but prepare to break a sweat and get really aggravated. Also, it is a little wobbly. If you have pets or children you’re afraid of bumping into it, this might not be sturdy enough to withstand that, but if you’re like me and don’t have to worry about those things it’s fine. I didn’t bother anchoring it to my wall and it’s still fine, it just depends on your situation.Overall, I really like it and I would recommend it if you don’t have to worry about kids or pets potentially crashing into it and knocking it down. It’s definitely sturdy enough to hold lots of books and will be a piece that stands out and adds some originality to your space.

It was one of the easiest pieces I've ever put together! Though it did take me a good hour or two. It is pretty sturdy as well and I love the design. U cannot beat it for the price! I got this book shelf because it was taller than me when most for the same price were much smaller. Glad I went with this one!

Not books on every shelf unless you have heavy book ends, but perfect for a mix of decor and books.

I really like the modern look to these shelves. They go with my (new) minimalist style. They weren't as hard to put together as I thought. The pre-drilled holes were all lined up nicely and directions very clear. I'm 63 yo woman and was able to do this by myself. It took about 6 hours. I used my little battery power drill for the phillips screws which helped. Most of it was done with the 2 allen wrenches provided though.
