Yardley Of London English Rose Eau de Toilette Spray for Women, 4.2 Ounce

My son got this for me for Christmas. I told him that my mother always Yardleys Violets (which will be a moms day gift to myself tyvm) and I was always impressed with how wonderit smelled a d how long the scent stayed on. I was so surprised to see it and immediately put some on. My husband looked over at me and smiled and kinda lowered his eyes at me and said “you are not leaving the house smelling that good without me!” Yesssss The spray effectiveness was a nice flow not a deluge of cologne just a nice mist. That one spray lasted all day, I couldn’t believe how long it lasted. To say it had longevity would be an understatement. Its a nice size bottle and even though he wouldn’t tell me how much, I did look it up and it is a total value for the money spent. I put the bottle up next to my i phone case so y’all could see how much you get. Over 4 ounces!!! Will definitely be getting more, and if you are looking for an authentic rose smell that will last and not turn into something “else” then this is the scent you have been looking for.

Yardley English Rose is such a beautiful fragrance — delicate, classic, and truly elegant. It’s a scent you don’t often come across, which makes it even more special. This has become one of my go-to favorites. The bottle arrived in perfect condition and smells exactly as expected. Highly recommend!

I love the English Rose powder and bar soap.. I purchased this to pair up with the others. The scent is nice, but not quite like the powder or soap.. The scent is a little sharp.. The scent of the powder and soap bar are softer. I will keep the scent.. I will probably use it for room spray or sheets.

While the longevity is only so-so, fix that by spraying it on the inside of your bra and you'll still have that wonderful rose/mix scent the next day. I don't like most rose scents but i really enjoy this one. It is not "harsh" the way most rose scents are. Plus very affordable.

This scent doesn't last long but enough to make me feel pretty as I finish putting on my makeup. I spritz it over my pulse points and then around my hair. It also scents the bathroom for a few minutes. I remember Yardley fragrances from my childhood when Yardley April Violets was my mother's favorite. I would like to order perfume instead of eau de toilette, but Amazon doesn't sell it. I'll try to get it direct from England.

Fragrance is very weak and not long lasting. When you buy a fragrance, you want to be able to smell it. This smells very light when you sniff it in the bottle but when you put it on, the scent disappears. I often buy Yardley soaps and enjoy the scent. It not overwhelming but nice & fresh smelling. I don’t know what to do with the rest. It’s not worth using.

I use this many different ways. I spray it in my bath water. I turn on the jets and let the bubbles relax my whole body. Then I spray it all over even on my clothes. Sometimes I even spray it in my melting wax lamps so my home alw assys smells great. Not just the rose scent either buy them all , Yardley has alw assts had wounded flower scents. Great product. This was a blind buy for me, my mistake. This smell isn’t sensual or floral like a rose. It’s powdery and another note I can’t quite make out. It smells unattractive to me, it’s the kind of “rose” fragrance that people reference when they say “old lady smell” 😬 For a true rose fragrance I can recommend Pacifica Persian rose. It’s slightly more expensive which is why I bought this instead. Should have saved my coin and just spent a few extra bucks. The Pacifica Persian rose is a true rose and this is not.

I adore this classic rose fragrance. Beautiful and timeless.
