Chewy-ish, slightly gritty, just the right amount of sweet and lemony flavor
Having had many Gluten-free snacks in my life, I have to say I'm not impressed. I am impressed with the fact that they used butter. That takes these from 3 stars to 4, for me. The initial fragrance, which the "top 100 reviewer" raved about, made me step back and wonder if the cookies were fresh. They just smell different to me, but after some chewing it became apparent they were fresh, just have an odd scent to them. I've a very sensitive sniffer which may simply have picked up on the tapioca or another ingredient not often found in cookies. The initial bite and first chews still had me wondering if they were OK. In the end they were "OK" and only OK as a standard cookie. For gluten-free they were pretty good, but I've had better (in case you're wondering K-toos are the best store-bought gluten-free cookies I've ever had). I don't like that there is no suggestion on the bag about how long they'll keep once opened. Surely, without a boatload of preservatives, they won't keep long.

One of my favorite 'store bought' cookies ever
I'm a big fan of a number of the WOW cookies, and Lemon Burst is my favorite! Terrific flavor, bordering on dangerous because I'm tempted to eat the whole bag! They are on the expensive side, but every once in a while I splurge on them :^)

Smashed to bits!
Broken to pieces! Very disappointed. Should have been put in a box instead of flimsy plastic mailer.

Not fresh
I got cookies like this at Disneyland and I loved them. I was happy to find these, but a bunch of them totally crumbled, coating all the cookies in powdery crumbs. They were expiring 2 days after I recieved them and they were not fresh, probably why they were crumbling. What a disappointment and not too cheap either. I definitely won't buy these again.

Wonderful fresh, not so wonderful shipped
My husband and I love these cookies from the store. I ordered them from Amazon because I was being lazy and they definitely weren’t quite as good. They were squished and a little dryer than usual.
