The feature that caught my attention was the fact that you can adjust the tension on the hand grip. It is very easy to day, loosen the thumb wheel, move the spring done to the next hole. You now have a whole new setting for your exercises. If the new tension is just a bit much, slide your hand down on the grip, so your little finger is not actually on the grip, this allows you use the new setting with a little less effort. Use this for a day or two and you are ready to move your hand back up on the grip, so all fingers are in the groves and you will find that it is now easier and your strength has increased. No complaints, not problems with it.

The Spartan hand-grip is well made with heavy plastic handles and quite comfortable to use. With a compression spring design, there is less chance of a broken spring than with designs that depend on stretching the spring. The resistance of the grip is easy to adjust and has settings for four levels. I have had several grips in the past that broke, but I expect this one to last a long time. Recommended.

The material the finger grip is made of is slightly slippery. Not for someone with smaller grip.

Excellent hand grip and forearm exerciser for building strength of grip for sports or use of tools. Well made and durable; the exerciser compresses the heavy spring rather than stretching. It can be adjusted to four settings to increase the strength required to operate it. I have a very weak grip and needed to increase the strength of my grip for target practice at the firing range. It's a bargain at the price so I ordered two of them to enable me to exercise both hands at the same time although you can certainly exercise one hand at a time instead. I highly recommend this hand grip strengthener.

Got this for my 86 year old dad. Other ones we tried are too hard to squeeze. He needs it mainly for left hand which doesn't have much feeling in it and the doctor said he has lost muscle in it. This can be made harder to use as it hass adjustable strengths. He only uses the least strength for now. Very good quality, I recommend it highly

Absolutely love this hand grip. Easy to adjust and comes with workouts to mix things up. Using it daily. Mine was orange and black instead of gold, which was a minor issue.

Very dense plastic, solid feel when using, great resistance options and easy to switch them around. Best grip strengthener I've used, and as a climber I've tried my fair share.
