When I turn the rocker switch in, the lights come on in the jump mode. Is there a way to program the remote where they come on white?

No there is not. This is a cheap set. I ended up returning these, just was a waist of time for me. Diode dynamics has a NICE set, but be ready to pay the price. Cheap but would not recommend these.

Are all of the remotes on the same frequency? If I buy multiple kits, can I operate them all from a single remote?

Yes sir, you can control them together. And avoid yours are controlled by others, , please turn the light strip off using the switch, not just the remote
