Unsure opinion..
1st off these seem to be made of great quality, shipping was also great with Prime... I only did 4 stars because I'm not sure if its the product or maybe its the freon cans, but after pulling a vacuum with a manifold gauge set, the first self sealing can went in great, the second can, it wasnt letting out any freon, until I slowly started screwing in the tap & unscrewing then I finally got it in a certain area, then onto the 3rd can there was nothing at all, I also tried using the piercing tap with no luck, so I grab my hose with a gauge that was made for both self sealing and non seal cans and it worked great, so I am not sure if it was the taps itself OR the Walmart SuperTech cans that didnt want to cooperate but at the end the job was successful..

Work Just as Well as Other Brands
I've completed only three AC repair or conversion jobs, and I believe being successful relies much on operator input. This kit provides two different valves. One is used for the re-sealable type cans and one is used for a puncture / one use type of can, seeing as you can't shut it off once it's punctured. The only cans that have been made available to me are the re-sealable type. These little buggers proved to be tricky seeing as there is a fine line between overdriving the sealer and basically making it inoperable or just finding that sweet spot. I've learned to try to listen for the actual flow from the can into the manifold gauge. The bottom line is at these tools worked fine. I think operator capability and input is key, and a lot of the negative responses, not necessarily related to this brand, but others as well aren't necessarily based in fact.

Necessary for anyone charging systems from 12oz cans
I used this to recharge my system using the 12oz cans through my manifold gauges. The adapter fit as it should and did not leak. Just a word of caution the new 12oz cans with the auto reseal got pushed completely out so now i have to leave my charge line hooked up to the gauges.

TAP THAT CAN
This kit works well. My neighbor's old janky r134a kit didn't have a tap valve for the newer 'resealable' refrigerant cans. So I picked this up and it worked fine. I'd tap it again for sure.
