The perfectionist's best friend!
This leveling rake is perfect for smoothing out bumps and low spots in your lawn-- I was thrilled at how easy this rake made it to create a perfectly smooth and level spot out of a heavy dip in my lawn. I use this more for correcting imperfections here and there (with native soil) rather than using sand to level the entire lawn, but that is another way you can go as well. The rake itself is solidly built and only took a single step to assemble from the box. Then you are ready to go-- just spread out your levelling medium and glide it along the surface. It really cuts the time needed. The 24" version (the one I have) is also lightweight and very easy to use. If you want a smoother experience when mowing the lawn, then get this rake and you'll be on your way.

Nice tool
I like the fact this tool can be easily disassembled and stored flat. It is also fairly heavy, which helps push sand and dirt around. The only aspect I did not like (which I thought would not bother me) is the backside of the tines are open so they easily collect sand and dirt. It is not that big of a deal, but would have chosen a closed tine if the option was available. Other than that, very nice product.

It does a pretty descent job leveling lawn.
It packs up very small. I might use a couple of times in a year so storage is easy. It delivered today and I used it for first time. I have never used one but I'm happy with how it levels the dirt. It's very sturdy metal. I don't think it could ever be dged by just leveling lawn. Handle is 2 pieces but the middle connection is 2 poles but the top pole slides into bottom then screws together. Seems like a pretty solid joint. Bottom handle pivot bolt is clunkier. I put a washer between handle and base for less scratching of pretty green paint and it's a little challenging. If you don't have enough patience for it then you have bigger issues. Good product and got here 2 days early.

Solid Piece of Equipment
When unboxing the rake, the first thing I noticed was that the rake had slots to hold the two-part handle. It's a great feature making it easy to store the rake when it's disassembled for storage. (Thumbs up!) It took just a few minutes to assemble. You can use box wrenches, sockets, or even adjustable wrenches to put it together. The tabs that hold the handle are solid, which appears to be a problem with several other rakes out there in the market. It has a generous coating of paint, which should last a long time without rusting. It's easy to clean with water from a hose. When comparing prices, it's more on the expensive side but I think it was well worth the extra dollars for this solid piece of equipment. I purchased the Landzie Fork Aerator in the spring and it is also a solid piece of equipment.

tends to go deep
Rake worked ok... It wanted to go deep into the soft dirt I was leveling. I had some small piles(8 to 12 inches) of powered dirt that I was trying to level over existing grass in a small depression. It did level the dirt after working at it. It worked better after I leveled the pile over the spot first with a garden rake. I still got a smoother finish using the garden rake without as much effort as this leveling rake. Not sure i would buy this style of rake again. Going to add it to my assortment of hand tools.

Important Tool for Shed
The absolute best. I have backyard chickens and the scuff the yard up all over and I fill gaps and smooth out with this. Or just leveling out outer areas. Sturdy. Good stuff here. But it for your arsenal.

It's a sweet tool for people that want a next level lawn. Well built nice weight and works grate for leveling the low spots in the lawn. Between this and the 7 blade push reel mower my lawn has never looked better.

Purchased and used it on my yard recently to add and level some top dressing. I added a fairly thick layer (for top dressing as my yard needed it). This rake made the job very easy. I was very impressed. Probably the only minor thing I could possible nitpick for improvement would be the handle mid-level screw could use a lock...but honestly, barely noticed it. You can be confident in buying this product.

I am writing this review after doing 3 Lawn reparation projects, the product is really really good, you will have a very smooth lawn in no time, however the only issue i had is the section that is circled in the picture is not very sturdy, on my last project it got tweaked i had to fix it and make it stronger. Overall amazing product, i love it

Love this rake! I chose the smaller size as I am a smaller person. Compact storage is a blessing.
