is the quality of this as good as the others? i have seen other keyboreds of the exact same, this one is a lot more expensive by 20$ is this better?

the keycaps have a very nice feel to them and have the grooves like other keycaps and come in secure packaging.

is this for a specific type of keyboard? would it work with any mechanical keyboard?

I only have 3 other keyboard switches, Gateron yellows and reds and cherry mx reds. they fit good on the switches and they are all the same size just different sound. so I don't recommend these for brand specific key switches like omni point(steel series) and fnatic speed switches(fnatic) and glorious panda switches(glorious). I say this because they are sometimes made different like the steel series omni point switches but other than that gaterons and cherry mxs should work fine. So yes it does kinda get specific under the two different categories of brand specific keyswitches and generic switches. Its not the keyboards btw its the switches its a common misunderstanding. Also you might have to put a little bit of force because they are new and never been on a keyboard before. Hope you buys these keycaps and they work for your mechanical keyboard, thanks for reading.
