This little gadget has so far been an excellent purchase. I just received it yesterday evening, (3-30-23) so I cannot speak of the battery life. I do like that it has a bright light on it that can used when walking, and it is small and easy to use. I have 4 dogs , 3 which are small Shih Tzu and bark at everything, even the TV and it has gotten out of control. When I opened the box and read the instructions, I also went back to watch a video on Amazon of someone demonstrating how to use the ultrasonic device. I hit each button one by one to see how it worked and when I it the large button, (the ultrasonic button), all of my pets responded,(even my cat)! I attached the clicker to the band and I give 1 click as a warning if they bark , then a second click if needed as a last warning follow by hitting the large ultrasonic button only if they do not respond to the warning. Omg , in less than 24hours they seemed to be trained. I have hit the ultrasonic button only twice. They all know what the first clicking sound means and they look at me and I say firmly, No barking, good babies! They respond perfectly, and I then praise them with a rub followed by a tiny treat and saying good babies! Today in less than 24hours I didn't even have to used the clicker when my husband came home. They recognized the sound of his truck and the chirping his key makes when he locks it and they usually go crazy barking like mad, and it just echoes in our house. Today they sat patiently and waited and did not make a sound. I am so proud of them and impressed with this product. It's actually kind of weird that they are not barking, however I don't used it if they are playing, ie running and chasing each other. I absolutely do not want to abuse using it. My husband has not seen it work and wanted to try it on them but I will not let him just use it -to-use it on them. If used properly, this little gadget is 100% effective. My daughter even had a friend over last night and they behaved so well, but usually are barking and jumping on folks. Give it a try and it isn't even expensive! I

We were wanting our dog to bark less in our apartment, but at the same time not being interested in anything that actively hurt our dog. So no electric shock treatment etc. We found this product that ticked the boxes, that would not hurt our dog but would reinforce the instruction that barking at will isn't good. In that respect this device works very well, and now we rarely even have to use it. Just picking the device up tells my dog that I am about to use it, and he almost always stops any barks at the thought. This device is well made and works well and also contains a great light that we use nightly when we take him out for the bathroom. It charges quickly and keeps a charge for at least 2 weeks, more even. They are 3 modes to use and all seem to work effectively in stopping any barks. I do not feel it harms him in anyway which means a lot. We are happier and I am sure our neighbors are too. I recommend this product.

I got this to stop my own dog from barking at passers-by, because we don't have a fence and she's a big dog with a really scary bark. She's also a service dog, so taming that bark is kind of a thing, lol. We also have a little (old) Pomeranian, so it's interesting to see the difference in their reaction, and I think it's helpful information. The Goldendoodle almost hears it as a "hey, don't do that, ok?" The Pomeranian hears it as "WHAT THE HELL MAN?? DANGER DANGER!!! STOP THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO DIE DIE DIE!!!" I don't know if it's an age thing or a size thing, but the two dogs definitely hear the buzzer differently. So much so that I make sure the little old dog is separated by a door or two when I use it with my Goldendoodle. So for the Goldendoodle it's great as a long-ish distance "no" when I don't want to yell or I don't want someone to hear me say no. (Like if well intentioned but clueless family is acting inappropriately with her, I can tell HER no without being harsh to them.) It gets her attention but it doesn't distress her, so I've been using it as a training aid and it works better than I expected. (I thought I'd just use it to keep her from barking and I rarely use it for that now.) I do wish it had a safety switch. If I put it in my purse the button can get pressed unintentionally, which makes it impractical to take places. I would use it more often if it had a safety. Also, I ordered the black SPECIFICALLY because it didn't have the kitty face on it, but it does. I'm probably going to cover it with a sharpie. I wasn't happy when it came with the kitty face. Grr. The different frequencies definitely work, lol... And, again, the two dogs great them differently. The old little dog is freaking traumatized (so I don't use the others at all because of that) and my Goldendoodle LOL, she's just really curious. She wanted to know what that sound was and where it was coming from. It would work great as an interruption, but it doesn't distress her at all. But the little dog probably has PTSD now. (Just kidding, she's ok!)

I’ll just start with this.. I have a very anxious dog who barks at every single sound or noise they hear from outside. Living in a heavily populated neighborhood is a constant headache of barking. I’ve been using this device for about 4 days now, and was going to wait a week or two to fully test it out to review but I don’t even need to wait that long. It works. It plays a sound that only your dog can hear that draws full attention of them to stop the barking. You just hold the button and point it in their direction. It could even work on a neighboring dog who barks outside constantly. It has 3 different settings (the lowest setting alone works on my dog), a built in flashlight and beeper as well for training. It recharges with an included charger and has a lanyard so it doesn’t get lost. I keep it around in the living room so if a movie is on it isn’t disturbed. I HIGHLY recommend this device and brand to anyone with a dog!!

Bought this to control barking of my dog. Dog responded only the first few times and later it got used to it and stopped responding to the intended reason. Product not worth the price.

Worked once wouldn’t work again worthless

We have a hard time getting our dog to stop barking when some one knocks at the door, this little device works wonders. We also use it to stop him from jumping on people it is so easy to use and does not harm the animal. Would recommend to anyone who is training a pet.

Absolutely no reaction from my dog whatsoever!
