The best varnish brush- worth the money
BY FAR THE BEST VARNISH BRUSH! I’ve used and tried many different brushes trying to test different brands and save money on cheaper brushes in the past but they all left brush lines, hairs fell out, or didn’t have the right firmness to spread the varnish. So many canvases were ruined in the process of trying find a good varnish brush. This brush was so easy to use, great quality material in the handle and brush fibers, is super soft and cleans easily. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND for a varnish brush. Worth the money.

Use it for Gamvaring Paintings, works well!
Honestly, not sure how much better this works than a brush with exact same characteristics but the truth was I didn't have a wide brush with similar bristles (had lots of bristle brushes which lost hairs onto my varnishing efforts). Deciding just to suck it up and get a dedicated varnishing brush intended for Gamvar I got this brush. Excellent. It applies the Gamvar easily. I know it's my dedicated brush for varnishing so I don't have to rummage through the brush collection each time I want to finish off paintings. I have small hands and this brush fits well and comfortably. I painting 5x10 foot oil paintings, so this is really a great size brush for my needs. AND I'm not finding lost bristles into my layer of varnish so it appears to be a well made item. If I take care of it--it should last me for a decent amount of time. Another great product from Gamblin!

Perfect for mid-size canvases
Excellent brush to use with Gamvar for canvases up to 30x40. The size makes sure you that you go over all the surface area to evenly spread the varnish.

The brush is fine but not worth the money . Can find similar i stores .

Perfect for varnishing!
I’ve had a lot of disasters using other brushes for varnishing. I was even once recommended a cheap brush from Home Depot. Almost destroyed the painting! Tiny hairs all over the place! This one has made a huge difference. If it gets hard, just drop it in some solvent.
