I currently use a Nexus 5x which charges at the rate of "charging slowly" with this cable. I do like the reel function as well as the color. The cable is a ribbon which is different from most of the other cables I have used. If you retract the cable fully into the reel, the back of the plugs fit snugly into the holes that the cable reels into. This gives it a nice solid feel. I could picture keeping this in a backpack and not having to worry about bending the cable all out of whack.Bottom line, I wouldn't buy this at the current price of this review ($11.99 USD). It charges to slowly to justify that price. I would (and have before) buy other iOrange-E cables for around $7-9. If I wanted to spend more it would have to be a quick charging cable, IE the one I received with my phone from google. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cable - needs to have more color choices *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2016* I have a car mount for my phone and was looking for an easy way to charge my phone on the go without dealing with a ton of excess cable. I came across the iOrange retractable cable and after reading some of the reviews I knew it would be able to do the job for me. The cable is durable and the connector tips feel sturdy and I didn't get the feel that this was someone found in those dollar bins by the cash registers. You have to pull the cables apart at the same time which leaves the plastic spool piece in the center of the cable, I wish it was setup where I could just pull one side at a time and leave the spool closer to end I plug into the cigarette lighter adaptor. I gave it 4 stars only because I'm not wild about the color - I would like it if I could get it in black or something not as bright. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid product. Presently impressed *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2016* Initially I didn’t expect much from this product. I've tried these kinds of cables in the past for travel and they always end up being a tangled mess of wires, the overall experience was not the greatest to the point I stopped supporting these kinds of products. However I was approached by iOrange-E to provide an unbiased review of the product and they would send me one free, I figured I would give it a shot. When I got the product I noticed two things. 1: the build quality was far better than anything I have used in the past. And 2: the retraction system was well thought out and seems to be much more durable and tangle free compared to other cables like this on the market. This is due to the flat cable which makes retraction more or less Hassel free, and the constant force spring inside feels like something you'd find in a quality tape measure. The cable instantly fit into my lifestyle on the go, specifically in my car. Another little feature that makes this product Hassel free is that each cable has its own “track” to winde up in. This causes for a perfect retraction every time. I have really enjoyed using this product so far, and would recommend to anyone looking for something like this.
