This was hands down the best money we’ve spent in a long time! I got this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband after we watched a dad and his 20-year-old son have a blast with a similar excavator at the beach last summer. After comparing options on Amazon and TikTok and reading tons of reviews, I went with this one—and it did not disappoint. The size is impressive (check the video for comparison to a smaller one we already owned), and it comes with two batteries, each lasting about 45 minutes. It’s super durable, handles both wet and dry sand with ease, and has great traction and power to move across the beach. The design is excellent—realistic, sturdy, and thoughtfully engineered to perform well on sand. It keeps everyone entertained while I relax and read, and honestly, there’s no age limit with this toy—it’s fun for adults and kids alike. We started with the excavator, but now we’re planning to add the dump truck, bulldozer, and loader to our collection. Highly recommend!

Works as expected

This excavator provides a lot of fun for our boys. It's easy for them to operate, 2 and 3 years, and it's battery life is long. We put 11lbs of kinetic sand in a low Rubbermaid container and they used this and a front loader to scoop the sand and make sand mounds. It provides entertainment and also requires them to use hand-eye dexterity. We also noted that this is well made and sturdy. My husband even messes with it sometimes!

My son loves it definitely needs a larger battery fond some and now will last more than 10 min it’s also quite won’t drive you nuts with fake noises

It's functional however when it turns all the way around it makes a clicking noise until it's turned back around. Wouldnt really say it's 360. Also I got this for a Christmas present and got a bin of soft plant dirt for it to dig up and when it needs to dig it makes that same clicking noise. Kinda sad that it's not durable enough to pick up soft fluffy plant dirt. It's still cool but not exactly as durable as it claims. Maybe just a novelty toy to lightly play with here and there.

I used this item and found it did not do what you would expect something like this to do. It is moor for looks then use.
