Q: How are these for sleeping on your side?

These are perfect if your partner snores ! You’ll need to use a travel pillow if you sleep on your side and the noise cancelling works best if you face the direction of the person that’s snoring. The fact that the battery last’s for 8 hours (7 hours to the reminder then 1 hour after that) means you should get a full nights sleep.

Q: Can we use each earbud individually?

I know this is an old question but for other people searcing.. yes the buds can be used individually but depending on your usage it is not necessarily simple. I use the Alexa voice assistant a lot & prefer to use one bud at a time to listen to books and podcasts. However, each time I put the left bud back in the case and take it out gain the voice assistant is turned off so I need to go in to the app and turn on Alexa again. Everything esle about the buds is either good or very good but this is VERY VERY irritating & may be a deal breaker for me. I am still within the returns period so these buds may go back. If you don't mind resetting stuff in the app every time then these buds will be fine.

It's capable of LDAC Bluetooth codec, which is high bitrate. However, you will need learn how to enable LDAC, as it's not on by default. On a Samsung, you can enable LDAC by pairing and connecting, then going into, settings - - > connections - - > Bluetooth, then pressing the little cog icon next to the wf1000xm4, then making sure the 'LDAC' option is selected.

Q: Can these use siri to announce notifications? like the apple air pod pros do? (ie read out what's app messages)
