Integrative Medical Biochemistry: Examination and Board Review

I have used several books before with this subject, but this book is really the most understandable one I ever saw. The text is concise and clear. The beautiful illustrations make the subject matter very appealing.

I had my first Biochemistry class 48 years ago. It amazing all the information that been discovered. The questions and answers at the end of the chapter was very useful for review..........my problem was I learned more from the questions and answers since I forgot the information in the chapter. I think this book would be very helpful for students.

This is an excellent medical biochemistry book for anyone seeking detailed information and review. Integration of other disciplines that are complimentary to biochemistry such as anatomy and physiology definitely provides reader with a much more clear picture.

It use to be that a person wondering whether a book on amazon devoted significant print to a significant concept could look it up through a free look at the table of contents or index. No more. This comment is based on my looking at the web site that displays topics in the book. So, this is a surmisal of this book based on the surmised fact it does not at all recognize the extremely important medical biochemistry concepts of "oxidative stress" AND "crosstalk between inflammation and oxidative stress". This book is useless with regard to its true medical relevance in everyday rural internal medicine practice. I dare amazon to publish this review and reflect upon it. Charles Beauchamp MD, PhD

Really good ebook. I am still wanting to purchase the real hard copy. The ebook somehow does something to my old fashioned mind.
