Get all the air out of the small pieces
Easy to pour and the pieces come out great, just remember to get all the air bubbles out before the resin sets, easiest way is to use a pipette

No Gloss At All But That's Okay
I have used these types of molds for a while and I was highly disappointed when the pieces came out with a matte finish over the glossy finish on the pieces. If you look at the pieces on the right you will see that they do not have the glossy finish. It’s an issue because I wasted the resin in order to make a set of pieces that match in their shine. Now I have mismatched pieces because of this. If you look at the Order page the examples are glossy, as you can see, they don’t come out that way. I looked into the mold and they have a dull finish. They turn out as expected and they are heavy enough so they don’t tear easily when de-molding. Sorry but not very happy with the product as advertised. You should tell your customers that they are not going to come out with any shine. Follow Up: So Customer service contacted me and actually offered me a refund. I used the refund to buy another set, that way I would have chess sets that matched in regards to glossiness. Great customer service and happy to make a purchase again.

Quality product
I thought that they might be more on the flimsy side but I was wrong they are very durable and easy to use although de-molding can be a little bit tough but like i said they are durable so no need to worry about tearing.

Be careful of air bubbles
I love these molds - but I will say be careful the resin get into every crack, especially the pawns. The first time I made one the top of the pawns weren't there because the resin didn't travel that far down. Some also came out broken at the top due to air bubbles so be careful. Some were also hard getting out of the mold, I had to have my husband help me. Overall, loved these molds.

Horrible molds
I have bought several different molds and these are absolutely horrible, they don't release properly, your projects come out dull instead of shiny, I tried everything, mixing more, 3 different types of resin, cleaning the molds, and other things, same result, use other molds and they come out great, I will never, and recommend no one else purchase from this company, they need to correct this, it's Terrible.

Good price point; needs a little extra work when creating to prevent bubbles
This set will make you one set of chess pieces at a time. You will need to buy some kind of frame to hold the pieces while you work. It'll do, but it takes some work to make these molds work their best. Not the easiest to pop the pieces out of these molds - I was afraid I was going to rip apart the molds trying to de-mold several of the pieces. To prevent air bubbles from ruining your work, fill the mold about 1/3 of the way, then either thoroughly squeeze the molds, and/or use a toothpick to ensure that the resin has filled all the nooks and crannies of the top of the mold before pouring more resin into the mold. While I did my first test run of these molds in layers of about 25% per pour and just a little squeezing, and the resin did not not readily settle evenly, so I found many little bubbles along the details at the head of the pieces. Unfortunately, due to the translucency of these molds, it is hard to tell if you've resolved all these bubbles. Also, would love this mold SO much more if they were fully clear/nearly clear, not just to tell if one has gotten rid of any air bubbles, but also so that one can see what one is doing if trying to create effects during the resin pour. Additionally, I would love to find a set of chess pieces that are a little less traditional looking. There was one set I found on Amazon which were quite striking and lovely (which also looked like they would de-mold easily!), but which were also oversized, so too large to fit a traditional-sized chessboard.
