I get Gifts for my friends Children for Christmas. 2 of the Families have young girls who are into STAR WARS (Thanks to Disney+) It's easy for me to get gifts for the Boys, since I'm a Collector, but always get stumped when it come to the little girls. I saw these items and figured it's basically Barbie Dolls from the STAR WARS Universe So they both got a Heroin From the Classic movies and they went off very well and they liked them

To get a solid Princess Leia from episode 4 A new Hope is a little difficult to find one that has a good look to it, and this one has a solid look and at a great price to add.

I've got to say that this is an old sculpt, with an effort to update her using photoreal technology. With that out of the way, it's not an especially good face sculpt but it still beats ROTJ Endor Leia. The cheeks are a little rosy, but so were Carrie's in A New Hope's promotional photos. The hood sits on her head like a funny hat. My figure's robe came with a tiny brown smudge so you may have to watch out for that. She uses old-school articulation, and she comes with the blaster pistol issued with Yavin Luke and Endor Leia and an E-11 blaster rifle. The boot sculpt is surprisingly nice and may be my favorite part of the figure. Overall, like the POTF Luke and Han, the figure is basically a reissue with a half-hearted effort to add photoreal to the face. It also gets the figures back out into circulation and out of the overpriced reseller market. There's nothing wrong with the figure really, and if you want or need Leia in your collection go for it (I did), but don't expect to be amazed.

WOW! I am impressed and excited to finally have this SWBS fig to add to my collection. This 50th Anniversary Archive version is way better than the original released version from 4-5 years ago. I too have that older version, but this new version is now replacing it. It's nicely painted and the photo-real never gets old for me. $20 well spent on this one. Well done, Hasbro!

The costume is pretty close to movie accurate, but the face is not a very close match to Carrie Fisher. She'll be at home on a shelf with the other Hasbro figures, and it'd be perfect for a kid, but it's definitely a play-line figure rather than a collector piece. Might be a little expensive for the quality.
