Tartan Utility Kilts for Men 8 Yard 13oz Kilt Available in Various Scottish Tartans

It's an inexpensive kilt. It's well made, it fits fine and looks good for what it is. I wasn't expecting a custom wool kilt so I'm happy with it.

Fantastic kilt . The fabric has a medium weight wool feel. This is not exactly a traditional kilt as it has side and back pockets. This was not an issue for me as I purchased it to work in and to wear to Renaissance fairs. Again not period correct but the quality is great. I own many kilts and I am very familiar with kilt sizing and how to take the measurements. This being said the only problem I had with this kilt was the sizing. I used their sizing chart and ordered the size they recommended for my measurements. The kilt that I received is about two inches to large and it is adjustable to go even bigger. The size their cart suggested a 46 where a 44 would have been perfect. I made it work by adding another pair of waist snaps. I am 5'10" and this kilt length comes right to below my knees which the length I prefer for my kilts. The pleats in this kilt are very clean and defined and the pattern is very clean. I would highly recommend this kilt even for daily wear.

I purchased the Scottish Pride Kilt. I received my kilt. Tried it on and it fit well. I wanted a men's kilt because it hangs longer than women's kilts. After some life events and surgeries ya really don't want to see my legs. LOL. The sizing is very confusing. I ordered a size smaller than they recommended and it fits perfect. The recommended size I knew was going to be too big. I am very confused about the 3rd back pocket everyone is commenting about. Maybe in older versions or in other sizes they have a rear pocket? Mine has just a flap. Upon reading the description it states two (2) pockets. Not 3. Be sure to read the "fine print" before ordering to confirm you are getting what you expect. Other than that... The stitching is beautiful for the most part. The pockets on the inside I had several strings etc. Under the flap were bits of fabric where it was a messy cut. See pictures. The only other thing I would have liked were cleaning instructions. There is no inside tag, no paper shoved in the bag. Nothing. Past experience recommends dry cleaning home or at a business (I use home dry cleaning. Woolite makes an AWESOME home dry cleaning kit for delicates..you can order it right here on Amazone! Shamless plug.) or hand wash and hang. DO NOT WASH AND THEN USE THE DRYER unless you are planning to lose a bunch of weight really really fast! Despite all the gripes about the kilt I love the colors and the fit! It is a light weight and can easily be worn for long periods of time unlike traditional wool authentic kilts. The buttons secure nicely! They are good and sturdy. The double set of male receivers is great for adding or taking away a little space! See pictures. If you are wanting authentic then you will not like this kilt. I recommend contacting a seamstris maybe one with the SCA or something and have it made...but if you are looking for something that is light weight...looks great..and gives you bang for your buck...this is a great choice! This item is surprisingly well made. Actually, the Kilt rivels products I have purchased from Scotland. The wool is not scratchy and based upon the quality of the garment and the craftsmanship I completely believe this Kilt will last a lifetime. The colors on the Tartan are authentic, the pleats are well measured. I am totally amazed at the quality of this Kilt. I expected far less given the inexpensive cost. Slange! Kudos!

Fits perfectly... I am 34" at belly and this kilt is true to measurement. Looking forward to wearing.. I have my kilt pins, fly and Eton jacket in black. Will look really smart!! Thanks for the terrific service and received on time...
