Unit was easy to set up, it came with an included power adapter, the cable of which is a decent length.setting up the feeding times and amounts was really simple after downlanding the app.It gives a consistent amount of food with each rotation of the feeder, doing test weighing over 10 feeds showed very little variation in the amount of food dispensed, making it easy to ensure amounts.The unit is very quiet when dipensing food, most of the noise is from the food dropping in the supplied tray.The app alerts you if food builds up to the point of blocking the exit to the tray and will no longer dispense any more until the exit to the tray is clear.You can also manually dispense food using the app.All in all a well made pet feeder, simple to use and clean and has been very reliable.Update : Had an issue where the unit was falsely reporting that the food bucket on top was empty , issue turned out to be that if the unit is in bright sun , the sensor that registers this can be 'fooled' into thinking the light inside for this is hitting the sensor.Sent an email to support asking for help and got a prompt reply with the solution , good customer service

Our cat Buttons is quite greedy and always would ask for more food, and would eat everything that got put out in one go, so we tried this feeder as a way to deliver consistent, measured amounts of food to make sure she gets enough regularly but we don’t give her too much. I was also worried that she only seemed to come for a cuddle when she was hungry. This feeder has worked on both issues - Buttons is now eating regularly (we’ve chosen a schedule of four times a day) and slowly losing a bit of weight, and has stopped begging us for food as she now thinks food comes from the machine rather than us! And she actually comes to us for cuddles more often than before, it seems the link between food and attention has been broken.The app is brilliant, very straightforward and so much easier to use than the Sure app we have for the cat flap and microchip feeder for our other cat.There is a lot of flexibility in portion size and timings, and the hopper can hold more than a whole bag of Iams so we don’t have to refill regularly and we know that we can go away for a few days and Buttons will continue to get fed automatically.Buttons hasn’t tried to break in to the hopper or get more food from the machine. Only slight downside is that we had to change her feeding location to be near a plug, as the machine needs to be plugged in all the time.We have been very impressed with this machine and highly recommend it.

I bought this feeder for my cat to regulate his meals. I already had a WOPet digital feeder which I absolutely love. I saw this one was operated through WiFi and had a larger food capacity.This one has so many good features. You can use your phone to set feeding times, manually feed and track your pets feeding as it keeps a record of it.It has a voice recorder so you can record yourself calling your pet at meal times. It also let's you know when the food is running low. I have taken a couple of screenshots of the app that you use to control it. It is so handy and has way more features than the first WOpet feeder I bought.What I like about this is that it takes a bigger sized biscuit which is helpful because we buy big biscuits for oral health. The bowl is detachable so it makes it easy to clean too.I would highly recommend this feeder. It looks alot smarter and more sophisticated than our other feeder.Safe to say our cat Riley loves it!

Hoping to go away a feed cat small regular portions. It was complex setting up as my router has combined 5 and 2.4 broadcast but instructions are clear and product now works perfectly although cat a bit spooked by voice option

It looks great, easy to set up and worked fine when I tested. BUT Then after a couple of days of constant use it jammed as the cat hadn’t eaten enough. Then when she ate what was in the tray no more would come out. Very disappointed for the price. :(

So I bought this product in replacement of another more expensive branded feeder which has failed to have stock. I have a kitten that unfortunately stays at home alone 1-2 times a week for the whole day and this product is amazing (so I can stop to ask the neighbour to come around!). Very easy to set up, to programme feeding time/portions and actually not that bulky. I like the look of it. The container when full would last over a month. I like the fact that has to stay plugged in but if there is a shortage of power, you can add some batteries for backup so the cat won’t miss the feeding schedule. For this price I would definitely recommend.

I bought this after reading a ton of reviews for different products, and am pleased to say this is an excellent product. I wanted a feeder that I could program to feed little and often, to stop my greedy cat hoovering her food all in one go (especially when we leave her overnight or for a weekend).Very easy to set up using instructions and the app. Very very easy to program and control from my phone, notifications for when food has been successfully dispensed or when there has been an issue (e.g food running low in hopper, or unable to dispense as food still in bowl). You can either set up automatic feed times, or do it manually.1 portion is 5g, so very easy to adjust portion sizes accurately.Also very secure hopper (said greedy cat hasn't managed to break into it yet).
