Changed my exercise routine for the better
I have come to know my self well enough to realize that in order to more consistently get exercise I needed something simple that I could do at home in front of the TV. My knees are arthritic and I have plantar fasciitis in one foot. The twisting motion of the Simply Fit Board looked like a good, low impact option.Within a few days of receiving my board, I had established a new routine of hitting the daily exercise and movement goals set by my AppleWatch. Part of my commute is by bicycle, but that doesn't give me enough cardio. Another ten or fifteen minutes on the Fit Board in the evening fills in the gap.Balancing on the board takes some practice, which I regard as for the better -- with my tricky knees, better balance is a great thing. As long as I keep my knees flexed, the twisting motion does not bother the joints. And because the stance is stationary -- no stepping -- my heel and foot are not aggravated. I was absolutely thrilled when, after two weeks of regular use I had a doctor's visit and discovered that I'd lost five pounds (the previous visit had been before the holidays, so I know the weight loss hadn't happened before the arrival of the board in my life in January). The DVD provides several approximately ten minute guided workouts ranging from easy to challenging. It also has basic instructions and shows a number of exercises you can do. A lot of the tough stuff is based on planks (as in the Yoga pose), but the board can add a twist -- literally. You will need room to do the planks and bridges, but if you only have a little space you can still get a workout from the twisting and other standing exercises. I did go out and get hand weights, which add to the affect of the twisting. The next addition to my Fit Board arsenal will be a mat -- I'm starting to wear a hole in the rug.

Liking this so far . . .
I'm still on a learning curve with this product and have only done the most basic exercises. I'm just doing the basic twist, with hand weights, and a side to side (mimics stair climbing) exercise. I can feel the workout in my legs, arms and shoulders, but not the core or abs. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I need to go to other exercises for core and abs. I do it barefoot for foot strengthening and I like that I can do that. I wish the video was a little more detailed in instruction, addressing correct posture and positioning a bit more.I found it easy, just stepped on and started twisting. Easy to balance, IMO, but my husband finds it more challenging and is also noticing improvement in his balance, so that is good. I love that it is low impact, or maybe no impact. I love that it is small and easy to store. Also easy to leave sitting out to encourage me to jump on it several times a day.It is somewhat boring, but it is quiet and can be done in front of TV. I like doing it while I watch the news. I like that it can just sort of be there and I can do it for a few minutes at a time throughout the day.I've only been dong this for around a week or so and I like it much better than many other exercise things that have come in the front door and gone out the back in a short period of time. My husband also likes it. I think this will be a keeper. Perhaps I can write a more informative review after I've been using it for a few months. So far, so good.

Great workout & fun! Seems to eventually begin to breakdown after years of use.
I bought this in 2018 and I love it. It says it holds up to 400lbs; however, after 7 years of using it, it began to crack down the middle and I weigh less that 130lbs. I would recommend this product but I didn't expect it to ever start to crack with a light weight. I use it practically every day and as thick as the board is, I would have expected it to last, always. I do have to say I will probably be ordering a 2nd one, but wanted to let others know that there is a possibility of it to crack, at some point. Great workout and fun. Can be done while watching TV. I really love, just disappointed that it began to crack and I am afraid to use it at this point.

Happy to find it WASNT a scam!
I highly recommend this product! I saw a commercial for it during the Christmas season and bought it figuring it was a scam. I used it for 2 weeks straight (about 30 min to an hour a day) while trying to eat healthy and using the stairs at work. A lot of my friends noticed my stomach was flatter. (I know many people reading this figure it was the stairs but I stopped using the stairs to test it and my weight stayed off). I have a hard time with working out as I have bad joints (I'm a 23 yr old girl but my ankles have always hurt from running) and this works perfectly and doesn't hurt at all!I also have terrible balance and this has also really helped that!My grandma is on weight watchers and I told her about this and she got one as well. She really enjoys using it while watching TV every night. She has a harder time balancing on it but puts a towel underneath it and that keeps it from moving and she does it near a chair so if she loses her balance she can grab the chair. After using it for about 40 min I'm out of breath as much as I would be after a run. When buying this product understand its not meant to burn fat like going for a run or doing weights. You won't end the workout in a sweat or anything but it definitely helps tone if you do it correctly. I don't watch the DVD for it but I watched the main tutorial online to make sure I was doing it right. You can feel it in your abs when doing it correctly. It's definitely made more so for toning your body and that's exactly what I needed. Really glad I found this and took a chance on this!!

Simple and fun
Simple and fun! My kids even love it. This is great for working on balance and cardio. It is very sturdy. Easy to use on most surfaces, but can be tricky on hard floor if you aren’t great on it. Stores almost anywhere.
