Really glad I made the switch and oral b have really upped their game with the new io series.

If you've never used an electronic toothbrush, then go for it! It's way better in the result. But if you can spare few more in the budget, then go for the IO9 and above. Till IO8 has a standard tooth mapping system that doesn't work properly, unlike the 3D mapping tech used on IO9 and above.

Liked it while it worked, stopped charging after 6 months

Amazing product and absolutely loved using it, but it stopped charging after less than 3 months. Very expensive product to last such a short time. Have been unable to contact seller for exchange or repair

I’ve been using electric toothbrushes since 2006. Started with Oral-b, brilliant brushes used about 3 within 10 years then i changed to Philips due to better reviews. However, they all broke within a year whereas i gave my last oral-b to my 7 year old two years ago, was still perfectly working, of which the battery just started wearing out in the last 3 months. I bought my last Philips about 3 months ago and already broken! So, I was adament to go back to Oral-b, specifically to the io range as i haven’t tried it before. I thought the smart app was a gimmick, how wrong i was!! My now 7 year old cannot wait to brush his teeth and he does a perfect job everytime, so do i and it always takes longer than two minutes!! So ive been brushing my teeth all this time incorrectly! It’s strong, which i love as my gums are well trained for this, i also waterfloss, clean my tongue and rinse twice a day. Absolutely fantastic!!! I highly recommend it! I also chose the “open box” option which i swear wasnt ever openned before hence got it for a very fair price just over £80. L o v e i t !

Bought this to replace an old Oral Pro series toothbrush which I shared with my wife (using different heads). The recommendation now is to have your own complete toothbrush so this was an ideal package. It gives a much better clean than the old toothbrush using micro vibrations. It spatters in the mouth less that the old one (which sometimes was a problem for me). The feedback it gives is a nice to have but not essential. The battery lasts a couple of weeks on one charge. The Bluetooth connectivity really is a gimmick. I've had it connected to my phone so I can monitor how I am brushing. But once you have done that a couple of times it become a waste of time to continue. I did look at the model 9 but the only thing extra was a dubious additional Bluetooth feature. Not worth the extra money. Given this package includes 2 toothbrushes its odd it only includes a single travel case. It does also include a travel container for a pair of brush heads. But I've no idea what they intend you to use this for. If you are going away for a short time you would only take the toothbrush. For say 2 weeks you would also need the charger. It unlikely you would need a spare brush head!! I think it's just something the marketing department thought up to make to package look bigger. This is a very good toothbrush - but its the toothbrush that's good, not all the marketing junk that goes with it.

Yes it’s expensive. My last electric Oral B came off Noah’s Arc but was still good and functional, so trust the brand for longevity. Decided to treat myself to a new one as it was long overdue and on offer. Have to say it’s amazing. Arrived next day well packaged. Connected it to Bluetooth phone App in nanoseconds seconds and then performed a trial run. Absolutely 💯%. No teething problems, teeth, gums and tongue exquisitely cleaned with minor effort and excellent results. Sensor indicates being heavy handed, times spent brushing etc. App shows what teeth you’re missing when cleaning. Doddle to recharge. It’s a no brainer. Highly recommend, already purchased replacement heads as they were on offer too, so good to go for the next 24 months. Wishing you pearly white smiles too folks. Worth every penny.

Lovely colour, great clean leaving your teeth feeling smooth and fresh. However the battery doesn’t seem to last as well as other electric tooth brushes I have had, however not too much of a hassle to pop it on charge due to the magnetic charger. I’d say the pros outweigh the cons. It may be a bit more costly but if it saves you the cost of one filling then it’s worth it! Recommend.

Brilliant toothbrushes, with a smart case and holder that works for both individuals and couples when traveling. It was easy to set up on the phone where you can get lots of information on how you are brushing your teeth, how well and how long you ideally need to brush them, and a series of settings and plans you can change if you want to prioritise for example gum care, or if you have sensitive teeth. Battery was better in the beginning and has started to need more frequent recharging, but this is very quick and easy to do. Teeth are getting a much better clean and I am very happy with this product!
