Bought 2 XS for my sons ages 8 and 4 both fit both kids perfectly. Even fit on my 2 yo nephews head with some adjustments. Wonderful helmets to protect my children’s heads so many adjustment options to fit a wide age range of kids! Highly recommend and the boys love the design!

My daughter was thrown 6ft off her horse while cantering. This helmet saved her. She landed head first, face up, hitting so hard her head bounced off the arena ground, cracking the outer layer of her helmet (she was riding in a soft sand arena). She passed concussion protocol right away and all mri’s and x-rays of her head/neck showed no brain trauma or skull fractures. She wound up walking away with a sore back and a broken arm and elbow. I can not emphasis enough having a quality helmet that fits your child. Please take the time to measure. My daughter is 10 years old, tall, but petite at only 62lbs. We measured and ordered her a size XS. It fit her perfectly. We did helmet checks with her instructor every lesson to make sure it was in good shape, fit well, and wasn’t compromised in any way. I am so thankful we took the time to measure & purchase a quality helmet that fit her. If we had just gone off the recommendations of strangers and guessed at the sizing, we might be in a different place.
