Roleadro HYG08-2X400W-W 800W COB Full Spectrum Grow LED Lamp with ON/Off Switch and Daisy Chain Function, 2nd Generation Plant Light for Flowering and Veg

I own 4 of these lights and 4-300w Galaxyhydro full spectrum LED’s. They are great lights and work well for growing. I had one of the 400W COB lights that had a fan on it that was making a slight noise like the blades were rubbing or hitting on something internally . I requested a replacement but being in the beginnings of a grow I can’t just be without a light so I ordered a replacement myself and requested to return the one making noises. I was within the 30 days of purchase so Amazon refunded my money and shipped my newly ordered light out. Meanwhile Max from Galaxyhydro contacted me upon hearing my situation immediately shipped a replacement light so as to not interrupt my grow, free of charge. Now that is customer service over and above what I ever expected from Roleadro/Galaxyhydro. Every light I’ve ever owned from Roleadro/Galaxyhydro has functioned perfectly (up until this one, and it still functioned, it was just making a noise and I felt uncomfortable leaving it unattended during a grow) and actually grow better than lights that cost much more money. I’m happy with the Roleadro/Galaxyhydro products that I’m using and how they function but I’m even happier and a little relieved to know that these lights are backed by a company who cares about its customers and stands behind the products they produce and sell.I been having issues with one of my 400W COB lights being dimmer than the others. Max from GalaxyHydro suggested switching the drivers inside the light to see if it was the driver or the light, which I did and the whole light appeared dimmer than it did to begin with. He requested pictures which were sent on 7-7-2018. Checked the light this morning 7-11-2018 and it is completely out now. Sent a new picture today and heard back from Max within a matter of a few hours. A new light was shipped and arrived today, 7-15-2018. Again GalaxyHydro/ Roleadro shows what true customer service is all about

Product was amazing ive bought several and swear by and even recommend the light to several friends. One of my lights and fan stopped workimg entirely.How ever I cant seem to get in contact with customer service for the warranty on one of the lights. I have 3 and 2 out of 3 isnt bad at all

I recieved the LED as expected and in good condition. Very sleek design. This is the first LED light I have ever bought, in an attempt to supplement my 600w HID light. I cannot speak for longevity as I have only been running the light for a day, however, I can say that it is intensely bright, as well as great heat dissipation. Both of my inline fans, together, pull 180cfm's. My 600w creates a minimum of 10 degrees in heat, with a fan on. This LED, however, only created 2 degrees of heat. Directly underneath the light the heat is extremely well vented, and I can allow my plants to be as close as 12 inches without the heat becoming too intense. I will post at a later date on how durable and long lasting this light is.Verdict: If you're scared to make the LED transition as I was due to so many different brands, this is a pretty safe bet. A marriage between cost and effectiveness, it will certianly brighten up those dark corners in your grow space! By itself, it could effectively cover a 2x2 space, or one larger size plant.

I ran this light for over a year and it worked really well. It is very bright and my plants thrived. However, the unit stopped functioning but it was still under warranty. Seller said it was a switch and that they would send a new one. Never got the switch after several follow-ups, so I will try and source one myself and fix it. Bottom line--it's a great light at a great price, but their lack of addressing my warranty claim is the reason for the 2 star rating.

UPDATE: after nearly a year to the day, I came home to the main lights (this light) in my grow tent not running. Thought it was an issue with the timer, but I soon discovered it was the light. I have taken it apart and can’t find anything obviously wrong with it other than it won’t turn on. No fans no light. Nothing. Was hoping to get a little more than just under a year out of this light. Slightly disappointed after it had performed so well. Nonetheless I ordered another. Hopefully the next one will last longer. If not I guess I’m going to build my own light from rapid led. This is the main light source in my highland grow tent. The light output is great. I grow tropical carnivorous plants and orchids and couldn’t be happier with the performance of this light nearly a year later. My plants have all been growing great. The light doesn’t give off a ton of heat which is good. For the price I couldn’t be more impressed with how well this light has worked for me, even in a high humidity environment.UPDATE: Almost a year later and the light is still going strong. My plants are doing exceptionally well thanks to this light. Still not emitting a lot of heat which is good. Very impressed with this grow light for the price.

After doing the research, I decided upon LED COBS, then found these here and bought 3. They are working extremely well, although 3 or more clustered together will definitely expel enough heat to be way too hot if enclosed in too small of a space. You absolutely, positively, definitely need to plan for ventilation, just as with any high-powered light I'd imagine. However under the lights themselves it is not that hot, you can allow plants pretty close to the reflectors, again if properly ventilated. I have had no problems so far and the company has even sent several emails offering to fix any problems I have if I do. Thus far I am very happy with this purchase, and would recommend these to anyone. I think this may seriously be the best available for the money right now. I would be interested in checking out the new Cree model too, but these are more affordable, especially if you need several. So get them...just don't get your hopes up for Cool Runnings.I do have one question...where can one obtain the daisy chain connectors?
