Miniature “Whole House Fan” - OUTSTANDING
This is one of the smartest buys I’ve ever made! This fan is OUTSTANDING!! I live in Southern California where the humidity is low, and it gets hot during the day, but cool at night. The design of my house does not allow for a “whole house fan” but this is the next best thing! I purchased two of these; one for my daughter’s bed room, and one for mine. I run them on the ‘Exhaust’ setting in the hot afternoons to vent all the warm air when the sun is hitting our house broadside. In the evenings, I switch it and run it on the ‘Cool’ setting and it sucks in all the cool air from outside. With these fans running, our bedrooms get equally as cool as running the Central Air Conditioner. Both of our bedrooms get down as low as 64° at night. And again - in Southern California, not needing to run the air conditioning is a MAJOR money saver!! These fans do make a LITTLE BIT of noise. The hum of the fan is probably what you would expect a fan to sound like, but the bearings (I think) chatter a little bit and make an occasional very faint, but noticeable clicking sound. My daughter has had this fan in her room, and runs it daily / nightly for over 4 months, and has been great. Based on the solid performance of hers, and how well the design fits and seals into our windows, I decided to get a second one for. Y room. But honestly - they function SO WELL, if they both broke tomorrow, I’d buy two more without hesitation! I wish I had found and bought these YEARS AGO!!

WOW! What a great dual fan with options! Perfect!
I purchased this for the exhaust feature mostly (though all features are used) My galley kitchen would hold smells despite even having a stove top ventilation system. I purchased this and installed it over my sink in the upper window portion and it works wonderfully to exhaust scents that used to linger in the kitchen after cooking! The remote is perfect because I can't reach to turn the options on/off. I keep then remote in the island drawer easy access. I never thought I could find one of these fans that do so much! It cools, allowing air in, both fans spin..it exhausts both fans to blow out and also has the option where it circulates, one fan one direction, the other fan the opposite direction. All at the touch of buttons on remote. I've been using this for about 2 months now, steadily without fail and couldn't be happier with it. It's quiet too, barely hear it on in all operation modes! Great deal and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one of these. Great price, fast ship and does more than I ever expected. Quality and reliability! Thanks for creating this item!

Loud Noise.
The fan works great in terms of power and the option to move air either in, out, or both simultaneously. My only complaint, and it is a significant one, is the loud noise it generates, especially when operating at high speeds. This issue is compounded by the fact that there is no cover for the fan when not in use, a feature offered by many other fans we considered. As we do not have an exhaust fan in our bathroom, we purchased this fan for that purpose. However, since we also have central air, we have to put the fan in the window before a shower and remove it immediately after. A cover would have been a simple solution to this inconvenience and would have improved the overall experience. While the fan is effective at moving air, I would likely choose a different model next time due to the noise and lack of a cover.

You CAN install it vertically!
After spending several hours searching for the perfect fan, this was 100% the right one. My apartment only has windows that slide left to right instead of up and down which basically all window fans are designed for. I found that some reviews mentioned you can install it vertically and so I tried it and it works great! It was a little tricky to wedge it in place but once it was installed it hasn’t moved one bit. In the middle of a heat wave it’s been a complete game changer. As soon as outside temperatures drop in the evening, turn it to full blast pointing in and it will cool your place down SO FAST. However, in my hours of searching for the perfect fan and how to use them to cool down a living space, I found that the only mode that you should use is to push cool air from outside in during the evening/night. Outside of that, it’s only if you need to get smoke or bad air outside that you want to set it to exhaust. I hope those tips help, our apartment has been so easy to maintain a great temp since we got it!

It’s okay.
It’s a pretty okay fan. It’s not too big so even if you have a small window, and it works. Pros: -3 speeds -3 functions (cooling, circulation, and exhaust) -Pretty good lifespan, I think I’ve had it for about two years now, and it even lasted a move! Cons: -Loud. Doesn’t matter what setting (speed or function) it’s on, it’s loud. -remote didn’t work well when I had it (lost it during a move) -the screens tend to pick a side that wants to work. If I want to use the bottom one, top doesn’t work too well, and vice versa. -the cooling function doesn’t actually cool. It’s not like an AC. The functions listed on the fan itself are “cool, exhaust, and circulate” and it’s more like “basic fan function, exhaust, circulate” -doesn’t put out a lot of wind, honestly. Overall option: Would I buy it again? No, probably not.

great little window fan
so far this has been an excellent little fan. it moves a lot of air and is relatively quiet even on its highest setting. the controls are easy to use – one button for the speed and another button to change the direction of the airflow. i like having the remote so i can control the fan from the bed. one benefit of this one compared to others i saw was that the width of the fan can extend up to 37" ! one thing to note is that you have to be mindful of the clips for the expansion parts - sometimes they may slip a bit. this is less of an issue if you're using it horizontally, but mine is installed vertically. means that the expansion parts need to support the weight of the fan. when you press the buttons there is a pretty loud, annoying beep. other than that, it's great. i'm planning on getting another one for a second window. 4.5 stars !

Not that powerful even on the highest setting, the extensions keep collapsing
This has its pros and cons. The pros are that I do love that it fits perfectly in my window. I love that it has 3 settings, cool, exhaust and circulation. I love that it has a remote control. That's where the pros end. The cons are that the fan is not that powerful, even on the highest setting. The highest setting is a just a mild breeze compared to box fans or other fans. You also don't feel the coolness unless you're sitting in front of it. Also, the build-in extensions are made of plastic and keep collapsing on occasion. There were days where it collapsed and fell out of the window knocking things over below. The plastic piece ended up tearing at one point as a result of that. The screws holding the plastic together don't work. This all happened within a month. I mainly also got this for the exhaust function which pulls air out of the room and spits it outside. I have two horrible cigarette smoking neighbors downstairs that started smoking directly below me and their smoke drifts into my apartment every hour. It was mentioned that an exhaust fan could work and this likely could work IF the fan was more powerful. If a little bit of smoke is getting through this fan, then that means the smoke is more powerful than the fan. However, I will say that having this is much better for the smoke than not, since it reduces the smoke smell significantly. The fan does have a hum that I can hear in the other room, but that doesn't bother me. I'd be fine with that if it actually worked in a stronger way. This would be a 5 star fan if they worked on the mechanics of it and made the highest setting stronger and created extensions that were stronger than plastic. Because it's not, this isn't worth more than $15. It's cheaply and poorly made. I reached out to the company for assistance with it and they were useless. There way of correcting this issue was by saying, “No one else has had this problem”. Good for them, but I’m not everybody else. They did nothing to resolve the issue. There are more than enough fans out there from better companies. Avoid this one.
