**Q: where does the rod go?  cant find the strap to put it in.**
A: I had the same problem. The strap on the bottom center has two little pouches on each end. The rod goes in those.

**Q: is it for real balls or just plastic?**
A: The Chip Shot will support both real and practice (i.e. foam) golf balls.  Thank you.

This chipping net is a great aid in working on my chipping. It is very easy to set up and take down; just put the support rods in the base and the mini stakes in the ground and it is ready to go. Taking it down is a breeze as well and the hook allows me to store it in the garage on a nail easily.
