The sharpest knife i have ever held. Very balanced in the hand. Be careful with these. I barly touched the edge of my finger while slicing and it will cut. Didn't know I was cut till I washed my hands. I true piece of artistry. Looks good, feels good in the hand, and can slice through meat like a scalpel. And yes, I have used a scalpel. They sell everything on amazon. Go buy a set then buy these and compare. Thank me later. The only thing is care and maintenance. If you want a real knife you have to know how to care for them. Wash, immediately dry, use light cooking oil to coat the blade for storage. Wash before use. Keeps them rust free and ready to go everytime.

These are super nice, and bad a$$. Wife got them for X-mas. Great quality and super sharp. I had to get a magnetic knife board to display them (and some other hand made knives I have). Be careful though, if you're clumsy, forget it, they're wicked sharp and unforgiving. Come with a crazy cool leather carrying case. There's a lot of over priced knives out there, but these fit the bill. Easy to sharpen, a little heavy, but I'm getting used to them.

Great quality. Well balanced and super sharp!! Nice storage wrap and sharpening stone/steel. Hadn't wash and towel dry for storage.

I have always liked collecting and maintaining knives. I am very picky about my knives and generally won't even buy a pocket knife if it's less than $250. I currently use a bench made meat crafter (you could buy 4 of these knife sets for one meat crafter) for all of my butcher/chef needs. I saw these knives on my amazon recommendations a few times so I read the reviews and was surprised. I was skeptical but I bought them and figured id run one through some tests and maybe send it back. After 7 hours of re-profiling the mini cleaver edge to 17 degrees with a 140g diamond stone, realized that this steel is incredibly hard and should hold a good edge. I managed to get a mirror finish on all of these knives and am genuinely baffled at the quality for the price. They are no comparison to a meat crafter but they are still really good knives. They probably have a high carbon content and may rust but thats nothing oil cant prevent. These are HANDS DOWN the best knives I've seen for around $20 a piece. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

I really like these knives. But, the carry bag they came in is NOT of a good quality. 2 of the handle rivets came out the very first time that I tried to lift the carry bag. My other concerns: I wish they made a matching "Honing Steel Sharpening Rod". I wish they made a matching "Steak Knife Set" (Non-Serrated Blades) preferred. I wish they made a matching "Serrated Bread Knife". As much as I like them, I "almost" returned them, to purchase a complete knife set, with matching steak knives, matching sharpening rod, and matching serrated bread knife.

Great looking set. These were extremely sharp out of the box. Like the leather storage. Good quality so far. Come with a coat of oil on them.

Have had them for several months and they are still sharp. Very well made. And yes they cut through anything with ease.
