But boot sizes seem to have changed in the last 10 years or so. I normally wear a size 8.5-9 wide in regular shoes/boots, but this time around I decided to go big or go home. I bought these boots in a size 10 in order to be sure I'd have enough room so that I wouldn't hurt myself again. Man, am I ever glad I did! They're perfect! Lots of room in the toe for my fat feet to spread out in and a very comfy, cushioned sole that I was totally not expecting. I'm not a Harley rider - I own and ride a metric cruiser - so I was reticent at first to buy these because I didn't want to look/feel like a poseur or a wannabe. But, I have to say, these are some very sturdy, comfy riding boots! Who really cares who makes them? No regrets! I would suggest going a full size higher than what you're normally used to, especially if they still offer them with the 7-day try on arrangement. That way you can always send them back for a half or full size smaller, if need be. But, more likely, they'll be perfect.
