An asset if you value your health
I’ve had this thing a few years now. Well worth the price for how I use it. I wasn’t a walker before. Now I walk daily and have a thorough record of that through the Fitbit. Luxe works perfect with the Fitbit app. The design is sleek, stylish & fully functional. The charger cable is distinct and hard to lose track of. You can customize the theme of how the watch displays to you. I use it daily to count steps, distance, calories burned, active heart rate and resting heart rate. Interestingly I was suffering heart rate failure for a straight week and part of why I am even alive today is because I was able to see the critical lows of my heart rate and knew when I could probably and when I could probably not fall asleep and actually wake back up (because heart rate falls even lower during sleep). It was a situation where I could not go to the hospital, they wouldn’t have known that about the situation and I wouldn’t have been able to get up from a hospital bed setup where you’re wired to things to walk around, fight the sleep I was fighting and get my heart rate to stay up enough not to fail my body. And I came close by an inch several times upon waking up. Strange story, difficult to believe but thanks to God (for the Fitbit Luxe and obviously my life)!

Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin
My fitbit is great but warning be careful of the bracelet band included. I used my futbit for several months and really liked it so my husband put in the new bracelet band included. He is very meticulous about everything he does so I know it was on right. The next day my firbit was missing from my wrist. I looked high and low and couldn't find it. When emptying dishwasher noticed my fitbit was in the bottom of dishwasher. Evidently went thru wash and dryer settings. Didn't work for several days and then started working again. Been perfect every since. Anyone old enough might remember the timeex commercial "takes a lickin and keeps on tickin". I would totally recommend.

No other device does what it does
Much better than aura. I have arrhythmia‘s, and the face of the Fitbit smshows me my constant heart rate which I need and is my number one most important information aura does not. Amazonnot many other tracking devices do this. Amazon do not change or take it away now that you own Fitbit

It's good enough.
I've only had this for 3 days, but I really like it so far. The Luxe can be a bit unresponsive, meaning it often takes multiple wrist-turns or screen-taps for it to display the home screen. This doesn't frustrate me personally. If you have poor vision, I wouldn't recommend this for you because the screen and text are small. The heart rate monitor is accurate enough- every time I've checked it's accuracy, at most it's been a beat off while resting. It's really good at tracking your heart rate while doing cardio exercises, not so much weight-lifting because it has difficulty capturing sudden spikes in heart rate. I've had some moments when I knew the heart rate tracking was wrong, but it quickly corrected after I adjusted it on my wrist. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for the price. As for the sleep tracking, I don't really understand how it works. Apparently I slept 8 hours last night, but I remember being awake for 2 of the hours it read I was awake. So I can't vouch or say much about its accuracy here. Overall it's a really motivating device. You can connect it to an app on your phone that lets you track everything (how much water you drank for the day, calories consumed, your current weight and weight goals, how much you exercises, meditation, etc.). The step counter in particular gets me moving way more than I used to. Battery life isn't that great. I charged it to 100% when it arrived, it's now at 57%. I don't care though, it's not that much of a hassle to charge it in my downtime. Ultimately, it's pushing me to be healthier and that's what matters. I'll do an update if it gives me any significant problems.

The best fitbit I have ever had.
This is by far the best fitbit I have ever had. My last one was the Charge 4. It was a bit too big for my wrist, EXTREMELY bright at night. It would lite up my room at night if I slightly moved my arm. That was so annoying that I often times would not wear it to bed. This Luxe..... I love it. I have had an Alta.. Then the Inspire 1 and 2. Both junk and would not link with anything. This Luxe, despite what others have said is very accurate... It will dim so it is not bright if you use the setting to dim it. It has 3 settings dim, moderate and bright. The face is not that small. My Alta was smaller. I see the face great with the colors especially. It does show me my heart rate, my oxygen rate at night the day after I started using it. It does every thing that it says it does. It is waterproof I have swam and showered with it with no issue. It has a setting for you to lock it if you are going to expose it. All in all I love this for bit. It looks like a watch and wears well if you have a smaller wrist. It fits my small wrist very well. You can buy numerous bands for it. The photo I have added shows just 1 of the many different styles of clock faces you can change in the fitbit app. The face is set on dim in the photo, so it is NOT too bright for night bedtime use. This Luxe also links extremely fast with your phone app right from the box. The Inspires I had NEVER was able to link The charge 4 did but it was a much longer process to set up and link. All in all I am EXTREMELY happy with my Luxe. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Looks great, but poor functionality
UPDATE: After a month of this thing not working, I contacted FitBit, and they sent me a return authorization. It has been 19 days now, and they say it is "still in transit." They won't send a replacement until the receive the device. I have owned it for 3 months, and only used it for about 6 weeks. WORSE PRODUCT EVER. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Several years ago, I had a FitBit charge that broke, and they sent me a new one within 10 days. This is horrible and I will NEVER purchase another FB product again. PLEASE read the negative reviews about this device on their website before you make the same mistake I did. I received my Fitbit Luxe a couple of weeks ago and I am so frustrated with it. I have had FBs in the past, but wanted the sleeker version, with a pretty band. I don't need the watch, as I prefer to wear my own. I don't want notifications on my arm, because I have a phone and nothing is THAT important (to me). I didn't want a bulky watch. I just want a darn fitness tracker. This morning, without even trying, I got it stuck on the stupid timer, and I did not even WANT to use the timer. I finally had to just leave it alone for several minutes before it switched back to the watch face on its own. I don't even WANT a timer, but you can't turn that off. I am so disappointed with this. 95% of the time, I have to bang on the **ahem** thing 8-10 times to get the display to appear...and often, as soon as the display appears, it vanishes again. Swiping sideways is almost impossible (maybe works 3 out of 10 times). Phone app counts my calories 2-4 times per meal when linked with MyFitnessPal (To be fair, apparently, this has been a problem with FitBit linking to MFP since as early as 2016--when I found the earliest complaint about it. You'd think they would resolve that by now. I suspect it has to do with the number of times that I log or edit a meal or add water on MFP). And, it never transfers my calories burned to MFP--no matter how many times I have disconnected and reconnected it. (I did NOT have this problem with my old FB Charge). I don't so much care about the watch face options, although they are very limited, and difficult to read. I don't want/need a watch face. I just want a fitness tracker. I've had it for more than 2 weeks now, and only remove it to bathe or shower. This morning, the SPO2 indicator says that I have had no readings for 24 hours and my SPO2 levels were 2%--most of the time they are 94%-96%, which seems accurate for someone who walks 90 minutes a day at a brisk pace. By that reading (2%), I should be dead. If I could give Luxe MINUS stars, it would be at MINUS 5 right now. It looks nice, but functions poorly. Before "Support" reaches out and asks, yes, I fully charged it, and ran it through all the updates before wearing. I wish FB would send out an update to fix all the problems. The current update is Jan 2022. Unfortunately for me, because of my past experience with FB, I threw out all the packing materials, so I can't send it back. I am so disappointed in this product. I really wanted a sleek looking fitness tracker that I could depend on. I got sleek. The rest is garbage.

Better than Amazon Halo
Let me tell you why you should buy a Fitbit if you are comparing it with a Halo. When I was shopping for Fitbit, Amazon advertised their Halo to me for only $20. I love a deal (who doesn’t?) that I took the offer. I was so hopeful but was incredibly disappointed with their product. It was bulky, had less than half of the useful features a Fitbit boasts and the app was useless. Plus, the thing had a tiny battery life. Had to charge it so much. Even though I have an iPhone the halo didn’t work with any of the calorie counters I could find, nor did it synthesize with any apple specific apps. (The Halo specifically warns that it is designed to be used with apple products. Gross.) This is the third Fitbit I have worn out in the last twelve years. Each one is better than the one before it. This one is so light weight and slim. I cannot tell I am wearing it. I sleep in it, shower in it, and only take it off to charge it. The app is great, it lets me track calories and automatically changes calorie goals based on activity level. The heart health stuff is so cool. I didn’t know they could detect a-fib until I got this one. I bought my husband one because he has heart problems. This is the best health and fitness tracker I’ve used. I highly recommend it.
