I bought this for my father-in-law after he could no longer reach down to put his socks on. This type/brand was recommended by his occupational therapy nurse. He does like it and uses it every day to get dressed. I don't have any personal experience with it, but since he hasn't complained about getting socks on since I gave it to him, I'm going to say it works perfectly for what it's intended to do. Quite a novel idea to make life easier for him.

I wasn't impressed with this. It seems that whatever sock I'm trying to put on, my large calves hinder the process.
