Super fast delivery with Prime! Ordered late Sunday evening, arrived early Wednesday morning... just in time for camping this weekend. This pad is more than I could have hoped for. It is thoughtfully designed, exceptionally well made, and extremely durable. The cover is removable for washing, if necessary, (I haven't needed to do that as yet) and the XXL pad is large enough (width and length) for a big guy like me (6 foot, 300lbs). It's comfortable enough to use right on the ground or floor and even has a built-in pillow pouch to keep your head-rest from wandering off in the middle of the night. The pad rolls up easily with a sturdy, but light, built-in roller bar and has rugged tie-down straps and carry handle sewn into the cover. The company must have some Eagle Scouts working on their team, or at least enough frustrated, sleep-deprived campers who wanted to build a better mousetrap... because they've done it marvelously with this unit. This is one heavy-duty sleeping pad intended for drive-in camping (definitely not for backpacking). Once the XXL cot arrives (which this pad cleverly attaches to with bungee loops at each of the corners) I have no doubt the combo will be even more impressive; both out in the bush or when an extra bed is needed in our small home. This is a definite WINNER!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased the Teton XXL cot, so I had to have the Teton XXL pad to match. It fits perfectly. It has a zipper to access the pad for cleaning or replacing. It also has a zippered compartment for a pillow. The roll up stick is removable. You can remove the stick and pad so you can wash the cover. The size is roomy. The pad is easy to roll up with the provided stick. It's very comfortable to sleep on. Very durable material and well made. The coard loops on the corners keep the pad in place while you sleep. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is not particularly light or small. It is very well designed and is of top notch quality. Paired with the XXL Teton Outfitter, this is a very comfortable guest bed that folds up a lot smaller than a murphy bed etc. and isn't one of those punishing sofa beds. Of course, has the added function of a large, comfortable camp cot for longer term camps where you can justify or have the space to transport or deploy.

I found the size of this pad to be adequate for me. I am a side sleeper and 5’9”. It’s very large even when rolled up and takes up most of the back seat area of my vehicle. At 2 1/2 inches thick it provides modest comfort at best, when used on the floor or ground. The outer shell seems to be made of durable material. I will be pairing this with the Teton xxl cot and that may provide the extra comfort that I’m looking for. Update…. The combination of the cot and mat together is a winner. Keeping in mind this is a rather thin mattress pad sitting on a cot that has just a bit of sag in the middle it is pleasantly comfortable but not like a bed. A raise to 4 stars
