I am also curious. **Q: does it fit in a 3/8 drill chuck** A: yes, it has a hex shaft that is 1/4 thick **Q: Would this work to clean the guts out of a pumpkin before you carve it?** A: Well it might... But there is also a large potential for it to rip a pumpkin to shreds.. Or just make a horrible pulverized mess of the insides... Especially if you have a high speed drill..
