Critters Direct Powder Blue Isopods (Qty-20) & Springtails (8 oz Seeding Culture) Combo Package, for Amphibian/Reptile/Invertebrate Bioactive Habitats

Was worried due to floods but responsive to my inquiry on Amazon to seller, assuring me. They looked healthy and didnt bother to count them all as there were many and looked like extra. Hope my habitat is sustaining them!

They did give me extras, it looks like there were 25 total and the package said 20. Of those 25, 15 were alive and 10 were DOA. A couple of the 15 that were alive seemed a little unwell but hopefully they’ll be okay. I’m hoping the springtails were okay. I did see some movement, but a lot of still ones as well, so it’s hard to tell how many were dead or just not really moving much.

Here is the thing, it was bold to ship the isopods without substrate because each critter could be inspected. All arrived alive, healthy, active, and were milky blues! That just goes to show how good of care the supplier gives them. I’m very happy with these cuties.

I placed all of them in a terrarium. They may be reproducing and get along well with the collembola.

The isopods and springtails arrived in great condition, though I was worried about the drop in temps, but they are quite well and are a welcome addition to my crested gecko's terrarium!

Half were dead and for what you get, these are beyond over priced

This is an awesome addition to my terrariums. Easy to use. Lots of little bugs which helps with the ecosystem. Just the right amount for two or three smaller terrariums.
