This is the perfect toy to introduce around 3 months age to engage your baby more during tummy time. My son absolutely loves it and he is able to stay on his tummy for longer stretches because he is so engaged. The size of the rolling rattle is perfect for small baby hands and I feel that this helped him learn to start reaching, more than the activity mat where toys hang down over the baby. Now that he’s a couple months older I use this toy to help him learn to push up on his arms and pivot by placing it at 45-90 degree angles in relation to his hands instead of directly in front of him. He loves it so much he figures out how to get it every time! The toy is very durable and well made. Plus, it’s beautiful and the colors are so vibrant. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and I would recommend you get one for your little one too.

I know this will last awhile and that we can pass this down. The ball inside makes a pleasant sound that’s not too loud. It was small enough for my baby to handle and roll around.

I love this little toy! It’s beautifully made - it feels very soft to the touch and it has a small noisemaker inside when rolling it. Two things to note: 1) Size: it was smaller than I had expected (I didn’t look for measurements though, but did later find them in the Q/A.) The size isn’t an issue though, I think it will be the perfect size for small baby hands when my sons are ready for this! 2) Serial number: I thought the serial number could have been printed a little more inconspicuously - you’ll notice in the video that it’s printed largely on the blue panel. Just a small detail that kind of annoyed me. :) All in all - I would really recommend this toy! I bought as an early Christmas present for babies on the way. I will update this review if there are any wear issues once they’re able to start using it, but it feels so high quality I doubt that will be an issue!

I introduced this toy to my 3 month old (maybe a few weeks before then) because a lot of the rolling toys were too large for him to manipulate. This is the perfect size for his little hands. It continues to be perfect for tummy time, and we roll it back and forth. He's able to flip it on the side and it's a great precursor for crawling because he likes to push it and reach for it. He has also learned to rake it towards him, which he wasn't able to do before this toy. Seems very durable and has been washed several times. AND the rattle noise is loud enough to interest an infant, but isn't annoying for adults!

This thing is tiiiiiny. I initially got it because I was seeing ads for the Lovevery roller that looks similar to this - except that one is giant and this one is like, two inches tall. Still, it's a good size for my baby and he can pick it up and shake it to hear the ball rattle inside. The ball also isn't super annoying to hear, since it's wood on wood - some of his other rattles are way more grating and loud! Even though it's tiny, it's still a decent toy that isn't obnoxious like a lot of kids toys out there!

Looks nice but my fault for not looking at the measurements. An additional photo to more accurately depict the size would be helpful. Purchased bc it is wood and a roller toy for my baby to go after but so small. Fits in my hand. UPDATE: My 7 month old loves this; tosses it around, chases it and chews on it. Good purchase.

I was looking at the product that is practically the same as this toy from Grimm. It was way more money though so I decided to give this a go. I'm so happy I did, it is so fun to roll around when doing tummy time and my little guy loves picking it up, shaking it and biting on it, so the size worked out for me. Great purchase, we will probably play with it for a long time. And the colors are so beautiful once my kid doesn't want to play with it I'll keep it on my desk to roll around once in a while.

A little smaller then expected, I should have looked more closely at measurements. I roll it on the floor for my daughter and she seems to enjoy watching the colors. The balls on the inside give it a pleasant sound and the workmanship is top notch. Once the kids outgrow it, it will still be great decor in the play room.

Feels well-made, and the bright colours are very attractive to bub. Was afraid the wooden ball might be a bit dull (vs a bell in some other rolling rattles) but it's not an issue and works perfectly.

My son has just figured out how to roll this lovely toy and is mesmerized by the colours as it spins and enjoys the colours as it moves.
