I have a Deerc 302e and while it's a 1/18 scale it's fast and loads of fun. Unfortunately the differentials are the weak point. First of all there is no lube at all. And the last Gdool I bought about a year ago had too much free play in the internal gears (which are the gears that fail). This one I just received feels like the gear have a lot less free play. I will dissassemble it to lube before installation in the car. I have heard that another well known brand of rc car has this problem so I wonder how many other intermediate priced cars come with NO lube in the differential. I'll update this review when I try it out a few months. ps- another thing that I think will make it last longer is to make the housing out of metal instead of plastic. My 1/10 scale Deerc has full metal diff's in the ft and rear and I'm not having any issues with it. UPDATE April 4 - After a lot of driving in grass, stones and dirt the rear differential is holding up well. I did "cheat" a little bit. I made a washer out of an old credit card to put in between one side gear and housing. This takes up all the slack and makes the diff work like a posi track unit. There's a small phillips head screw in the side gear to seperate the gear from the housing. I'm good with cameras but not too tech savvy or I would make a good video. Still 100% happy with my purchase!! UPDATE APR 30/2023--- Both differentials are still working fine. The internal gears still "feel" tight which is a good thing. Still 100% happy with my purchase and will buy again if the car needs one!!

It works well it’s sturdy. Made my car a little faster would buy this again if I need another one.

The part fit the 300E and it works great again! I thought the truck was not worth fixing. The differential took a while to install, but most people could figure it out within an hour or so.

Lost the 4wd in the rc truck. Got this and installed working perfect again.

The fit is good, works ok initially but this item stripped (like the original one) and no longer provides traction to the wheels.
