Moen 900-002 Flo Smart Water Monitor and Automatic Shutoff Sensor, Wi-Fi Connected Water Leak Detector for 1-1/4-Inch Diameter Pipe

It is a great product and one I’ve loved… till it died. The problem Moen don’t tell you about is the flow is measured by a sensitive turbine with 2 magnets. These are exposed to water continuously and get corroded / covered in magnetic debris. Once that happens, the Flo stops working. You can potentially clean it - it is a hassle - you need to disconnect mains, then clean and reinstall. The catch is, in my case that didn’t help either. Now I’m trying to get a replacement turbine - if I can’t get that, I basically now have a wifi enable valve with no leak / pipe burst protection. Not what I’d paid for!
