Organic, Unrefined, Virgin Coconut Oil, 1-gallon

I cook with coconut oil. I like the flavor of this oil.

If you go through and do the research here on Amazon you will notice that this tub of coconut oil is almost $25.00 more expensive then the same exact size with a true Nutiva label. Seems a little strange that there isn't a real nutiva label across the tub on the original picture but the little picture here next to the stars is a real label???? Also there is a substantial difference between refined and unrefined. Refined means that it has had to go through a chemical process where as unrefined means its as natural as possible. Organic, virgin unrefined coconut oil is the best way to go. You will also notice that the unrefined are slightly more expensive than the refined....but that just because its better for you. I find that the nutiva line is great tasting and of great quality. The only thing that bothers me is that they package the oil in a plastic container.

The Nutiva Organic Coconut oil is price effective, has a good, barely there flavor and was delivered in a timely fashion.

I use this product for cooking and in smoothies, and I love both the fragrance and the flavor, full of coconut subleties and intensity.I keep the tub in the basement and have a smaller amount in the kitchen - not in the fridge, there it becomes very hard.I'll definitely get this one again.

Love it! I use it for all of my cooking and baking needs and then smear it all over myself after a shower!!

I also used to buy the most expensive coconut oil, but this is equal in quality and about 1/2 of the price.
