I bought two of these after getting an Echo Dot and an Echo Show 8 to start out setting up a smart home. Having looked through the options and not wanting to spend large amounts of money just starting out. I did some research and watched some youtube videos on a few different brands before choosing these.Firstly the packaging is good and looks premium. The bulbs themselves look great and give a good amount of light.When placed into the light fitting and turned on the bulb flashes which shows the bulb is ready to pair. Then all it takes is thus to say "Alexa find devices" and the connect seamlessly. It is quick easy and simple, something that I really appreciated as a complete novice. The connection to Alexa has been seamless so far and there is very little lag between the voice command and the light responding.All in all it has been an excellent experience and I'll definitely be buying more of these and from this brand in the future.

Great light. initial step by step installation instructions, to link to Alexa, worked well. Then somehow I while customising the bulb, It lost contact with Alexa and It was quite involved repairing. But i managed it. I think some other80 od year olds would have given up.

Buy again it’s that good

I wanted WiFi bulbs, advertised as such, to link to my network. These bulbs have a Bluetooth symbol on them. I can only get them to Bluetooth to the Alexa device in the same room. Sengled app and instructions imply they can be added direct to WiFi network for more usual control via something like Smart life app. I've tried and tried, just won't do it, never finds my WiFi networks on 2.4ghz. App is poor and limited in scope. So now I have everything controlled through Smartlife with voice control by Alexa, except the Sengled bulbs which have to be just Alexa. Irritating. Also not that bright for 9w. I'm wasting 4w over other bulbs everytime I switch then on.

Soo easy to set up simply plug into light holder turn on at mains and connected to Alexa network now I can turn my bedroom light on or off without gettin out of bed hello lazy mornings!! Can adjust brightness from to set the mood easier to wake to a low light then blinding myself first thing in Mornin

This is the first time that I've used a 'smart' bulb and I'm impressed. It is used in a bedside lamp and the first thing I noticed was that you get full brightness immediately instead of having to wait for it to 'warm up'. It just seems a bit strange to be saying "Alexa, Good Morning", when going into the bedroom at night!
