After using this product for more than six months, here are my observations. Upgrading from an HDD to this SSD significantly improves boot time. It is very easy to install and has a clean, minimal look. I bought this SSD in July 2025, when there was no major price surge like the one seen in January 2026. Based on the price I paid in July, this product is definitely value for money. Regarding transfer speeds: since this is not a premium SSD and has a limited DRAM cache, performance is excellent for smaller files. However, when working with files larger than around 20 GB, the speed drops noticeably. That said, for everyday usage, it is a great product overall.

Outer box was damaged and previously opened otherwise product is good it was new i checked.. and works fine also speed mentioned in page is same as actual speed..size was same as mentioned.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Exceptional product. The Kioxia Exceria is the most value-for-money option in its category. I was considering the Crucial BX500 and WD Green, but ultimately chose the Exceria due to its superior TBW (Total Bytes Written) and higher MTTF (Mean Time to Failure), which indicate better endurance and long-term reliability. It gave a new lease of life to my 10-year-old ASUS i3 laptop - now it absolutely flies! The performance boost is remarkable, making everyday tasks smooth and responsive.

Got this on great indian summer sale for 4.5k and additionally got a sata ssd enclosure for 400rs to make this into a portable ext ssd. Using primarily for Mac and iphones and i musr say it was a surprise that it performs so well. Mac users will have to go to disk utility and erase the partition-exfat and GUID and it will be ready to use. Same like format drive to FAT/NTFS on windows. Speed is not amazing but not bad either. Getting somewhere around 300MBPS avg read and write speed with that ssd enclosure. Perhaps that could be a limiting factor. The disk itself feels light and robust with aluminium chassis. All in all a good cheaper alternative to either internal ssd or buy and enclosure and make an ext ssd.

good ssd from kioxia, getting great speeds, tip for non tech guys, go to disk manangement and intialise the ssd from it or it wont show up in file manager, you can get the full process from google, its easy, overall happy with it
